Volen Sentir (finally!!) arrive on All Day I Dream. Their tracks have been heard at All Day I Dream events the past two years and we've been excited to get this release out (although failing miserably to do that on time..oops..sorry boys). Russian producers continue to impress us with their musical music and groovy grooves and VS are one of our favourites. This four track EP further strengthens the Russian sound.

We gathered, strengthened, listened and received the gift of quiet. We landed at home in our own hearts. This class reminds us that we are never alone, and that no matter where we are, we are on the path, and right at home.

Never Again

A top five tracker from Black 8, the talented Egyptian producer arrives on Sudbeat and oozes of class.
The title track is a sophisticated fairly housey affair, with emotions pouring from its every part, with acoustic guitars and sampled choral vocals meeting warm pads and more, all melting wonderfully into a beautiful warm soundscape of the highest order.
'TNT' takes things a little tougher and darker, as melodics sprinkle over shuffling edged beats, while acidic noises ping around.
'Rising Tide' is a mysterious slab of goodness. As dark meets light, with big phat synths and gnarly tinged sounds meeting luscious pads, while all along teased by long drops and a great groove.
'Once Upon a Time' is a smile inducing piece of electronica, wrapped up in a blanket of dreaminess. We don't need to say any more really.
Closing things up nicely, we have the club mix of 'Once Upon a Time' , and using the elements from the original and adding gated synths and a deep bassline, turns in to a dance floor moment.

Some artists reputation proceed them, and Sébastien Léger is one of those who belong to that highly regarded few. The French DJ and producer lists Daft Punk, Michael jackson and early Chicago house music to Laurent Garnier as his influences. And somehow this all pours out in his emotive music.

'Love Star' is a super cool slab of epicness! A percussive grooved subtle building gem, teasing gently with tinkling arps and washes of warm pads, that are beautifully layered, while clever delays add depth, whist the warmth just keeps on landing. Sophisticated piano keys and cool 80's bassy edged squelchy hits, create a magical musical soundscape of goodness. 

'Umbrella' shows of Seb's deep side, as intricate tripped out melodies sprinkle effortlessly over this swaggering deep basslined gem. A wobbly top line slides in adding heat, as this playful number bounces along nicely! Pads glide in an out and then an analog synth line guides us cooly along the happy path of sunshine.

Korean-American artist Lawrence Lee has been carving a name for himself on dance floors internationally. Known for his unique twist on Techno, Acid and House music, he has recently released on DJ Haus' House Crime Records and fellow New York-Berlin artist P.Leone’s E-Missions, and more. Here though we see him mark his debut for Par-ka Records with the ‘BioDome’ EP which welcomes San Francisco’s Vin Sol on remix duties.
The original mix of ‘Biodome’ leads with crunchy breaks, heady arpeggios, gritty bass leads and rave-tinged strings to perfectly set the tone ahead of Vin Sol’s ‘Dome Inside A Dome Mix’ which opts for a more direct 4/4 rhythmic approach whilst stirring in the chopped snippets of the original’s melodies alongside menacing acid bass and distorted percussion.
The ‘Fuse (Tunnel Mix)’ opens the flip-side, a high-octane cut fuelled by a robust drum machine workout as murky bass swells, snaking strings and resonant synths wander throughout. The ‘Cell GT Mix’ then closes the package, laying more focus on the rhythmic elements as the billowing synths and airy strings subtly meander within

Moses Mehdi debuts on Poker Flat with Bushwick - three club tracks detailing his wide-ranging influences.
Born in Iran and raised in Germany, Moses Mehdi has a background in hip-hop, American house and techno. All of these are evident in Bushwick, his exceptional debut for Poker Flat Recordings - three tracks of vibey dance music primed for the floor.
Take It In is built around a flipped and layered sample, produced on just a laptop following a long night at a festival near Berlin. Medhi’s refreshing take on production results in a euphoric, leftfield vibe - the track as sure to work at a festival as in a smokey basement.
The Seek Note has a more melancholic feel, born out of a period of reflection in Medhi’ life, and influenced by the likes of Tale of Us. It’s a tightly produced melodic tech workout, full of emotion, tension and release. Mad Science was also a production laid down on Medhi’s laptop - catching inspiration wherever it strikes. The chord progression drives the track, with superb fizzing and bubbling percussions providing a perfect counterpoint. An inventive and infectious EP from a fresh talent.

There is something called Asthu. Imagine it like a Casper flying next to you. It's there all around us. It's like the Indian version of guardian Angel. 
However, the difference is the Asthu is slightly laid back but disciplined. And it doesn't have a judgmental ability of its own. Rather, it respects you so much that it leaves the job to you and doesn't question. It won't choose for you. It won't know whether you mean it or not. 
Sometimes you say things you don't mean but it will make it come true. E.g. You wonder what if someone steals your footwear from outside temple, Asthu will bring the attention of a thief to your footwear and it will be gone. Sometimes it will miss listening to you. 

So when you say something followed by tathastu, it means you have thought so much about what you are saying and calling the attention of Asthu to work along with you to make it come true. So, always be mindful of what you think and say. 
The literal meaning in English is ‘So be it' or 'apadiye aagatum' or 'apadiagapatathu' in Tamil.

Dimensions is a compilation series focused on bringing together unique artists and select tracks, which resonate with each other beyond just the sound of the music. It is a platform to create forward thinking releases on which artists in the XYZ family, and newcomers with shared values, come together to write their chapter of a collective story.

The second instalment of the Dimensions welcomes a set of diverse characters into the XYZ fold. The trio of groove-laden tracks nudges the listener towards the darker and colder months ahead, yet retains a warm fall aura as well. Beat Syndrome is back once again on Agara Music for the labels 4th release. The duo's remix of "Time Sense" helped the label launch quite successfully. This single will be no different. The original mix is a very beautiful and deeply emotional piece of work. The wonderful melodies and atmospheric sounds are drenched in effects and lead you to believe you are in a dream. Just in time for spring. 

The first remix is by another progressive-master, Jelly For The Babies. This remix is similar to the original but with a slightly more tech house groove to it. Some different synths are used throughout to give this remix a slightly different taste. A little Jelly on top.

The second remix is from two good friends from Argentina. Alberto Blanco & Marcelo Paladini. These guys went in a whole different direction and created a darker feel for their remix. It still retains the detailed atmosphere but has an even more ambient feel to it. Some very creative sound design in this remix. All Day I Dream events began on a Brooklyn rooftop back in 2011 and have since become an international sensation. Each year the events continue to spread out across the world. From Los Angeles to London. Melbourne to Moscow, Berlin to Beirut to Brazil and back to their spiritual home base of New York City. They continue to flourish due, in part, to a core ideal. To create something truly magical. The passion to create magic manifests itself  both in those organizing as well as those attending the events.  

All Day I Dream also continually forges it's own unique ambience through a combination of the musical journeys taken by it's listeners as well as noteworthy venue choices. Each location transformed with the event's bespoke production design. Structural art, hanging gardens, colourful fabrics, fairy lights and lanterns.
