It’s been one year since I moved to Montreal on what turned out to be something of an ill-fated expedition. Though I was back in Vancouver by April, I learned a lot about myself and about life, and was able to experience the wonderful city that is Montreal. I also came back with a piece of music, finally recorded last October as part of my album, “Music for an Imaginary Film”. When I composed it, the temperature outside was -30 C, and I was thinking fondly about times past.
