With his third appearance on Vitus’ Curse, Red Rooms once again delivers a seamlessly crafted cut and perfect tool at the hands of the right DJ. As moody groove-jam, his version of “Shalaxo” comes with an infectious acid bassline and spheric, ominous pads that add perfect tension. Paired with the ground laying drums and percussions, it can’t do other than make crowds dance.

To keep continuing our mission of presenting up and coming producers from all around the world, Vitus’ Curse is back with the 4th EP on the label. For “Sharan EP”, Armenian and Yerevan-based talent Förm delivered 3 uniquely produced original cuts and 4 remixes by DJ Dripcore aka Lucinee, powerhouse Lifka, groove-genius Red Rooms, and Stallo – one of Berlins aspiring newcomers. Spiked with fast-paced modern percussion rhythms, groovy to rolling basslines, captivating soundscapes, and unexpected emotional twists, this journey covers a wide spectrum of contemporary electronic music in the realm of Techno – with all proceeds of the release being donated to UNHCR for the support of humanitarian causes for Ukrainian people within the country and beyond. For more than 1 year, the Russian government under Wladimir Putin has been ruthlessly attacking the Ukraine and its people – inducing and waging a war that nobody needed. Communities, cities, and whole regions were destroyed, people assassinated, murdered, expelled, and harmed in so many ways – with more and more war crimes and atrocities to be discovered. After the military offensive, more than 18 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance in
Ukraine and beyond the borders. We cannot end this war but privileged to keep on living our normal lives in central Europe, we feel the urge to help. This is why we decided to donate all proceeds of this release in favor of the people that are suffering. As trusted and experienced charity organization, UNHCR will use these donations to support the people in Ukraine as well as refugees in neighboring countries. Let us stick together and give something back to the ones that are in need.

Introducing ‘...is serving’, the label embodiment of DESSERT’s MDF dancefloor at ://about
blank and the culmination of a decade of careful curation in high-energy techno. For our
inaugural release, we bring you an emotionally charged journey into the fringes of hypnotic
techno by Black Mirror Park, with remixes by Jon Hester and Red Rooms.
‘The Great Filter’ merges a throbbing substructure, morphing chords, and a touch of acid into
a floating anthem equal parts pressure and serene oblivion. A high-energy voyage through
distant, unexplored worlds.
‘It Was All A Dream’ transports the listener to a delicate realm of dubby nostalgia with Lo-Fi
undercurrents. Soothing bells and washed-out percussion weave a vast, auditive tapestry
that unfolds deep landscapes of blissful introspection.
Jon Hester’s rendition of ‘The Great Filter’ imposes a shattering percussive superstructure
and cascading snare rolls, reforming the original’s pads into rays of bright energy that burst
through the overwhelming pressure.
Red Rooms transforms ‘The Great Filter’ into an array of shuddering machinery. Pulsating salvos of percussion ripple across a dark sea of underlying tension in a high-energy re-
imagination with industrial undertones.
With ‘The Great Filter’, Black Mirror Park has crafted an EP that draws its enthralling power
from the artful interplay of pressure and serenity. A transcendent journey through the
hypnotic fringes of techno is served.
