Just after I got set up for recording 4 guys arrive with a trailer full of rubble and they begin to unload it like there's no tomorrow. Recorded with a Neumann RSM191 into a SD MixPre6 and a LOM Geofon added for extra bass. Processed and mastered to make it sound a little bigger. Just because I felt like it :)

Allert Aalders studied sound synthesis with Ernst Bonis at the Utrecht School of Arts in the early 90’s. He was a founding member of techno act Human Beings in the mid 90’s.  
In the 2000’s he started as sound engineer at Utrecht’s Tivoli venue, toured as front of house mixer with acts like Epica, Nobody Beats the Drum and especially Berlin’s techno-punk god T.Raumschmiere.
In 2012 he founded Sonar Traffic with Ben Spaander (Cosmic Force). With over 50 mostly vintage synths this is the ultimate synth geek playground, located in Kytopia in the old Tivoli venue in Utrecht. 
With Sonar Traffic, Allert organises the bi-monthly event “Modulation” at Kytopia: 3 modular performances on Sunday night. 

Allert does mostly improvised performances on his modular. He always tries to give sounds an organic quality.

Allert has performed at Noodlebar Rotterdam, Wired Electronics Brussels, Modulab Eindhoven, Superbooth Berlin 2016, 2017 and 2018, Pitch festival Amsterdam, Ginko Modular Fest, Common Ground Berlin, Amsterdam Dance Event Soundlab 2016, Voltage Control Amsterdam (Paradiso) and Uncloud festival Utrecht 2016, 2017, 2018
