Years after the EPs on Macadam Mambo and Bahnsteig 23, das Dunkeltier is back on wax, this time on the German label Reach Another System aka RAS Records. It comes as no surprise that it's a surprise box drawing from the bottomless pit that is the 80s. And again, these edits are closer stylistically to his dark side project boldly named GOTT than to his more gleeful mainstay alias Sneaker. The sources of these four obscurities are only revealed to the third ear of the knowledgeable digger, but let us give you a hint – gathered are Teutonic Titans, a Bauhaus offshoot and a digital symphony orchestra. Dopplereffekt - Infinite Tetraspace EP (CRTSX011)

For the sixteenth output, Marguerite Records is glad to present a new compilation. The A side marks the eclectic label shadow: ‘Condizione Umana’ by @italian-massacres, the duo composed by Violet Poison and Davide Pestillo, opens the release with an enigmatic VHS-tinged composition, sci-fi b-movie soundtracks inspired. A2 ’Zezuru’, a giant cinematic drone wrapped in distorted percussion by LIES affiliated German Army followed up by ‘Drone Thugs & Harmonies’, a slow tempo psychedelic-dub from Dutch’s Galactic Funk owner @bertram-croes. Closing up the first side is ‘Solar’, an authentic electro full speed track by the Croatian musician and sound engineer @zarkoff. ‘Lies in Disguise’ has an obscure synth bass sequence and textured vocals by KRI affiliated the duo Black Dot and opens up the second side, followed up by ‘Cage’, produced by the Italian New-Beat master @unconscious. After that, Florence's Synth-Punk band @zonautopicagarantita maintains the old-school vein with ‘Lifetime Shock’. The release is closed by the firework-ish beats of ‘Tory Gloryhole’ by @autumns.

We're happy to welcome back LA-based producer Ole Mic Odd, this time with a full EP that crashes electro traditions into gloomy post-punk aesthetics. The result is six filthy tunes of menacing vocoders, murky pads and distorted acid that go from 2 AM clinched-teeth-madness to punishing slow burners that will bump a 64 Pontiac Lowrider.

Michael Padgett is a West Coast hardware electro wizard who runs The New U.S. Government (label) and has released lots of funky electro dirt on labels such as Kraftjerkz, Zement and Source Material. He returns to Kri Records after contributing to our compilation Trust the Rust Vol.1.

After gracing sublabel Charlois three times over the years, Timothy J. Fairplay finally lands on Pinkman with ‘Convictions That Stick’, furthering his sonic excursions into raw, jacking, yet evocative house music. ‘Convictions’ rattles through drum-machine workouts topped with soaring synthlines, inviting you to spiral in the club's darkest corners. Between the shuffled claps, ominous melodics and delay-laden syncopation, 'Convictions' playfully evokes both the mechanical exploration of urban space, and the claustrophobic intimacies encountered within it. There's even a nod towards 1980s’ cult cinema hit 'The Bronx Warriors' at the end. Naturally, these six tracks find a perfect home on Pinkman.
