Thump Trax

Hard House has got funkier. Hard House has got more melodic. To many ravers this is all 
well and good but toward the end of the event all they want is a dark and pounding groove to stomp the night out. This is where Thump Trax come in. 

Thump trax was set up in January 2012 with the intention of rocking the tougher end of hard house, which label owners Toby Bowen (aka Phatt Beats) and Sonny Summers thought had been neglected by the influx of vocal, trancier cuts. 

The launch track, ‘Voodoo’ firmly establish the dark and driving sound that people can expect from the label and with many more tracks from the great and the good in the scene you can expect big things from Thump Trax.

Toby Bowen (aka Phatt Beats) 

No stranger to the scene with twelve releases across eight labels including 
collaborations with Defective Audio, Dave Owen's, James Nardi, Wayne Smart, Weazal, 
Random but Raw and Scott Genetik. Alongside his production career he has established himself in his native Southend as one of the most in demand and consistent DJs on the circuit with past residencies Back In The day @ Sectioned, Megabyte, and current slots at Concept and Encoded NRG. Toby is co-owner of the latter, teaming up with Wayne Smart to propel the bi monthly event to nationwide prominence over the last four years.

Sonny Summers 

Quietly establishing himself as one of the most promising young producers at the harder end of the scene both in terms of his DJ sets and production. He has already had tracks signed to Orrible Noize, Stereodays, Digital Damage, Hi Oktane, Crank Digital, Ramped Up Records, Smalltown, Encoded NRG, Late Night Recordings, Krave, Hard Hittin and Boxed.

Danny Vega aka Duology aka bobby dazzler aka sky-highatrists

The Mungrel formally known as DJ Terry Fursland had had his first experience of hard house in 1997 at Camden Palace for Imagination 1st birthday party and witnessed the legend Tony de Vit playing last set but didn't really fell in love with hard house until 2001 when a chance visit to SW1 club, Victoria on a sunday afternoon where Sunnyside up was holding one their famous end-of-weekend parties. six months later he had his set of decks and started learning how to mix whist going out and watching the likes of Skol, Roosta, Pete Wardman, Andy Farley, Paul Glazby, RR Fierce and Karim as influences towards his own mixing style.
In 2005 he had his first set for a small event called Twatted HARD at George IV in London's Brixton in which he gained residency. he then went on to get residency for Twatted's sister event NRGized and started playing reguarly for events Flashbak, Vital, Sundaze, Shine, Hazardous, The Gathering, Union with his unigue style of hard house and bounce.
One of Terry's biggest sets came in 2008 playing for Nightshift@Mass, Brixton whilst playing the same time as Lisa lashes, in different rooms and was responsible for emptying her room!
in january 2010 Terry decided to switch from bounce to NRG citing a new challenge and starting learning how to use the production software Fruityloops while under a new alias The Mungrel. He had his first release 'The Outlaw' a collaboration with good friend and producing mentor Sonny Summers with his first solo track 'Me and you' following just after. 
2012 will be a big year with collaborations planned with Phatt Beats, Tony Kaos, Chris Summers, Steve Marwood, Dave Gray and more to be announced! watch this space......peace!

Boy.An - born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. His artist name has been created and inspired by his real name Bojan who comes from the eastern of europe (Serbia).

Since he was a young guy, he has his passion for the electronic dance music. As a dj he had his first dj bookings at some well-known bars and smaller venues in his hometown, Zurich - later on he also got bookings in other places and bigger venues around Switzerland.
More and more he got the confidence in this scene and grew up as a resident dj for some real quality venues/promoters around Switzerland and also got the possibilty also to play his sets at the world famous Street Parade, Zurich. Since 2010 he is producing his own music and created his own studio - with success! He absolutely got that groove, that dry, catchy and rolling quality. 
He had his first release on Sabb's SK Supreme Rec. & Zurich based Shikki Mikki Rec. - an artist you have to watch out in future - such a talented one!

I am really concentration on Producing sounds to preform live.
Like a dj set but made using my sounds on the fly. 
(Trancy/Dancy sort of stuff)
sadly I have stopped putting my newer tracks on SoundCloud as they end up all over the internet however if you are interested in what I am up to now just drop me a line. 

I am at the point, where I am trying to learn the performance side of it, the recording side of it is another thing altogether lol, I love the idea of Native Instruments Stem, and because of the way I have been producing, I think the stems will work really well.
