PLK is a producer based over in Israel who works in the TV industry. 'Dreamware' was a tune championed by Mako a long time ago on the first ever Utopia podcast and finally sees the light of day. You can hear the Photek and Teebee inspirations on this, whilst containing an original element too.

UM018 represents a rebirth for Utopia. Up until now it has been a strict vinyl policy for all releases, but with the amount of music they are sitting on, the decision has been made to get some of it out there to make room for more signings. The EP is diverse but retains the Utopian ethic which we have come to love, tight production, at home on the radio or dancefloor, and the largest bass weight.

Plasma Audio mark their 20th release with a solo EP titled ‘Distant light' from label founder, Safire. The EP compiles of two dnb and three half time tracks exploring moments in time that venture through deep soundscapes, distorted baselines, hip hop inspired beats & technical production. The EP depicts various styles which the label has grown to be known for.

Conceptual & artistic is the theme while each track has meaning intertwined into its design - from dark to light experiences to political messages, the EP has a rich flavour and will have you feeling the music more than banging your head, with some exception as one or two of the tracks have a remarkable energy that is sure to hurt any dance floor. Artwork for the release has been hand drawn by Japanese designer Nene of QQQ, full release due out 13th of November 2017.

Microfunk Music has released a new EP called "Puzzles". The release contains four tracks by Microfunk artists that will soon be releasing their solo records on the label.

The compilation provides a glimpse into the future sound of the Microfunk label. You'll find vintage IDM melodies from Microfunk Crew in the track "Bikini Bottom", and futuristic glitches in the ambient epos "Sparkling Lake" by Dissident. "Minimal Love" by Subwave stands out with its meditative vibe that's somehow still at home on the dancefloor, and Nuage opens up new horizons for the evolution of his and the label’s sound with his 160-bpm track "Parallel".

"Puzzles EP" is out now digitally on Bandcamp and will be available in other shops / streaming services on the 1st November. A limited edition of tote bags and prints with the artwork are available via Bandcamp.
