I really didn't mean for this to sound like Alan Parsons.  It was really an experiment with mixing whole, half, quarter, eighth, and sixteenth notes, but I like where it took me.

This song goes back 30+ years.  I know my piano playing isn't the best, but I like the way this track layers.

Evolve

This started out as an experiment to learn how to use a new keyboard, and the basic melodic line is based on Dave Brubeck's Blue Rondo a-la-Turk concept (though my pattern is 3-3-3-4), but I like how the flute takes control of the track.

In The Keys

I have recorded occasional songs over the last 40+ years, but I finally set up a small studio for myself with some better equipment and want to put the tunes that have written themselves in my head to actual pleasant music.  I am not trying for anything fancy, just things that feel like they work for me.

I don't use any AI, or any automation, or key changes through the software.  I also don't follow any rules for song structure or chords either.  I just want to make something that's interesting.
