Crunchy, swung vibes for the Youtube channel rippers and underground misfits. Instagram fashion & Tumblr social movements all rolled into one. U kno the way. 

Rememba Me is the Lobster fave here. Huge vox on the OG and a heavier imbued groove on the Dub Rework. Get this thrown down in the dance! Daze Of My Youth is hissing, lucid deep goodness. West Coast synths riding throughout the 2nd half, real haze and good times. 

Sick Boïz came about around the time of early Baltra & Seinfeld and mines a similar sound palette, pulling ghostly swirling synths out of the mist and coiling them around warm, fuzzing valve drums & bass-lines. 

Lastly, Exotic Situation is the heavy dreamers cut. Slow-strobe drop in the rave, love on the floor, the end of days. The kind of goosebumps only early 20's club melancholy can supply. Live your life.

Phonica Premiere: Theory Of Movement - Life Without Fear [DUKE'S DISTRIBUTION]

Rising Belgian talent Supreems returns to Lobster Theremin, following up 2016's breakout ‘Us Together’ 12" and his recent superb Hammer remix with a four track journey to the outer rim through ethereal breaks, undulating deep house and luscious electro.

Opener 'Close Your Eyes (And Feel)' has been bothering the net for a good year now and finally sees a release on wax. Scattered breaks, chopped vocals and those classic yearning pads collide and shatter into a fine mist of melancholia. Next up is ‘Broken (And Out Of Sync)’, a hefty rumbling breakbeat base punctured by heavily staccato’d acid lines and rapid analogue arpeggiators. A soaring, uplifting night sky flight.

Shifting into life on the B-side is When Two Souls Reach. A heavy soul search, wandering down into the depths, alongside the setting sun. A warm, enveloping love letter cast down from the clouds in beams of yellow and orange tinted light. Then the final leg, the thundering drum-scorched ‘Stream Of Consciousness’. Evolving pad lines that meander along the edge of sanity, twinkling percussive synths and swung 909’s and 808’s. Soft-hued melodies and endlessly hazy atmospherics for the close.
