While I believe that it can make us happier to listen to uptempo, stimulating and entertaining pop music throughout the day,  I also believe that we all can benefit from a slow and  peaceful instrumental from time to time. This piece was composed in April 2011. It was inspired by the rugged majesty of the mexican sierras and the redwood forests of northern California, where travelled many years ago.
