The video for the original is like some aspiring teenage rapper's badboy fantasies, but this remix ups the whomp and features a real contender for "Snare of the Year 2k14". You can tell the duo had fun with this one – It's definitely one of those "anything goes" remixes.

Bristol based clubnight-cum-label Crazylegs have held a keen finger to the prevailing winds of UK dance music for a minute now. Last year, the label was the nearest thing to a guiding compass for making sense of UK club’s colliding co-ordinates: their release-schedule plated up everything from quickfire grime (see Gage and Ziro) to solid sunshine house (in Tommy Rawson), while also packing in one of the summer’s finest gems in Murlo’s refix of ‘You and Me’.

In the same year, the imprint gave us a solid induction to Welsh tag-team ISLAND via an all-originals production mix — an introduction to their distinctive soundworld through pneumatic grime, off-beam edits and jagged club hybrids. After a rising tide of support from Mssingno, Evian Christ and Eclair Fifi, the pair follow up with ‘Nokia’, their 6-track debut EP, dropping April 6th. Get a first taste via ‘Vola’ now — a widescreen neon stonker built on shining vocal shards and clattering drums.
