[Behind The Track]

Welcome to the thirtieth release of Launch Records. This time we got a new producer called ICY with his song ‘My Love’. This is a perfect example of where Launch stands for, helping the beginning DJs.

ICY started the song which a calm guitar together with some atmospheric background sounds. After a while, a vocal is added together with chords and atmospheric sounds in the background. In the build-up, you still hear the same vocals but this time together with a happy melody under it.

When the drop hits, the track is transforming into a powerful dance track. ICY uses a strong and clear melody. On top of that vocal chops are added to give the drop even more power. The sounds of the drop and vocal chops work really well with each other and they are self-designed sounds by ICY. The same vocal is added in the bridge, but now there is a kick, and the baseline is added.

All these aspects which are used in the track make the track a real Launch release. We are very happy to have a release with this new and talented producer ICY. We can say that this 15 years old producer has an amazing future ahead of him, so keep an eye on ICY.
