MATISSE is an artist based in Michigan where she grew up. She is known for her versatile voice that can adapt and suit many genres while still maintaining a distinct timbre. This range can also be heard in her writing: heavily influenced by British and Norwegian artists; from intimate singer-songwriter, to experimental indie pop, to EDM collaborations. MATISSE is a budding artist who has already worked with industry heavy hitters such as producer Roy Kerr (The Freelance Hellraiser), musician Jonny Polanski, and currently working with 3-time grammy award winning producer, Marc Urselli on her original music. With more songs nearing release for MATISSE, she is looking forward to showcasing this stylistic range as she sonically experiments with the fusion of the dark academia aesthetic with celestial, multidimensional curiosity, her passion for animals, hope for humanity, and to explore what she has learned about emotional intelligence thus far in her lifetime in her lyricism.
