However the planet is in a continual state of chaos known by the Daoists as 'Red Dust' The track is quite extreme in nature and begins and ends very calmly, while the centre sections are the complete opposite.

'Weaving A Web Of Sacred Geometrical Patterns' After looking at so many images of Sacred Geometry, it has become apparent to me that structured change is limitless. As so beautifully displayed in the myriad of images available to peruse. Equally striking to me was a video I had watched of four Buddhist monks contructing an image using Sacred Geometry, with grains of different coloured sand. After weeks and months of labouring on this simply breathtaking achievement, they stood up, admired their work and brushed all the sand back into boxes. 
So then this piece is my humble appreciation of the message that I have recieved, from these experiences.

'Imagination Becomes Reality' A Jazz Fusion Track inspired by how the title reads really. If we can imagine something then it can become real. The important question is, What is imagination and what is reality? Are they both "real"?  An age old question, which can only be answered by an inner search.

So when most of us do or achieve something that pleases us, this is us 'Massaging The Ego'. I'm not sure if I am totally blown away by this present work, but my ego seems to be happy enough. 'In A Rush To Slow Down' is a Jazz Fusion track inspired by the notion that rushing to acquire skills or knowledge invariably leads to not getting them at all. My teacher would say "practice, patience and perseverance". So then my musical journey here starts off at a frantic pace and morphs into a slower pace.

'Acquiescence' is an Ambient track reflecting my feelings regarding the "lock down". which was a crime against humanity. However this piece is for the the poor souls who suffered and died because of this global crime. I am reposting now, as I feel that it still applies and is a reminder to all of us that "Acquiescence" is the "rod that broke the camel's back"

Now retired from a life 'on the road' as a freelance keyboard player, I compose and record in my home studio, situated in the Carrick Hills in Southern Scotland. My music is mainly instrumental in nature and is a reflection of my life experience, sometimes real and sometimes imagined.
My influences are many and I have quite probably been shaped by listening to the very many "giants" of music, both players and composers. From classical to contemporary jazz and everything in between. My main instrument is the keyboard, whether that be piano or synth. But I also play banjo, flute and percussion. I work in Cubase through a 24 channel analogue desk.
I have a 'special relationship'with bass, whether upright or electric and use virtual basses from numerous sources, but mainly Trilian by Spectrasonics.
