'Harry The Hedgehog' is a my tribute to a little hedgehog who wanders peacefully around my garden and whom I have named Harry. He always brings a smile to my face and goes about his business around the garden quietly. reminding me to do the same. 
He isn't without threat though, with the odd cat or dog challenging his right to be in the garden, however in his own quiet way, when threatened, he simply curls up in a spiky ball and awaits their departure.

'Just When You Are Not Looking' A mixed genre track of neo-Classical and Fusion. I've called it Alternative Fusion and it was inspired by just how quickly your day can change from enjoying the moment to utter chaos and pain. Accidents happen often when one loses focus and takes life for granted. For example: when washing the dishes, whilst thinking of something else and breaking a glass, and when picking up the broken pieces, cutting one's finger and can't get the blood to stop poring out. Just an example of the myriad things that can change "Just When You are Not Looking"

Drawing Out those amongst us who are prepared to say no, when no is required. To stand against totalitarian governments, quangos. ngos's and any other arms of oppression.
So this is what has inspired this piece.

'Shadows In Fallen Clouds' Chemtrails are covering our skies worldwide daily. These chemtrails contain a mixture of chemicals and heavy metals. Most of the worlds population appear to think that these chemtrails are clouds or contrails and some are even oblivious to their very existence. However I am not and am well aware that what is being sprayed artificially in the upper atmosphere, won't stay there for long and will soon succumb to gravity. So then these chemtrails start to fall to earth, with their pollutant toxins. We are then breathing these in and eating the food produced from the contaminated ground and drinking the water. 
My track then 'Shadows In Fallen Clouds' is my protest to this assault on the earth and every living thing on it.

'My Drouthy Cronie' is a line from the Robert Burn's poem, 'Tam o' Shanter', and is a tribute to the many 'drouthy cronies' I have shared time with over the past 60 years or so. Some have passed and some are still alive and kicking. I thank them all for sharing some of their valuable time with me.

'Living In The Red Dust' A Daoist term, 'Red Dust. is the view that the vast majority of the population of Planet Earth are either involved in and/or are oblivious to, the wars, genocide, poison of earth, water and air of our planet. Those of us who are exempt from either camp, must still live in the 'Red Dust'. So this track featuring Georg on winds, soloing and wind ensemble arranging, is our acknowledgement of the above grievances to the planet and all life on it, that we  both share.

Now retired from a life 'on the road' as a freelance keyboard player, I compose and record in my home studio, situated in the Carrick Hills in Southern Scotland. My music is mainly instrumental in nature and is a reflection of my life experience, sometimes real and sometimes imagined.
My influences are many and I have quite probably been shaped by listening to the very many "giants" of music, both players and composers. From classical to contemporary jazz and everything in between. My main instrument is the keyboard, whether that be piano, organ or synth. But I also play banjo, flute and percussion. I have a special relationship'with bass, whether upright or electric and use virtual and synth basses from numerous sources, but mainly Trilian by Spectrasonics.
