Echoes from N Λ T U R R I T U - MATERIA PRIMA. For me, music is synonymous with the first vibration born from silence. The first and most direct from the source of being. The first matter - the primordial matter - will determine everything we experience, know, think and know from that moment on. Depending on the use of alchemy, healing or destruction happens from here. To listen to music and especially to create a sound journey means for me to follow this thread, to find a way to the source of existence, to the primordial. To what everything in this world turns: to the omnipresent harmony. In addition, I would like to point out again and again that this happens in harmony. Harmony means to bring opposites together. Dissolving our thinking of opposites. Letting go of our differentiation of things, instead recognizing the connections and commonalities. ALL IS RELATED - according to Jeremy Narby in his lectures. This knowledge is as old as humanity itself. Open Into Flame
 is a meditation, a prayer and a dance for personal and collective transformation. For the past month, I have been immersed in smoke from fires burning in the mountains to surrounding my home and from the hundreds of others burning nearby here in the Pacific Northwest of Canada/USA. The burning of entire towns, homes and livelihoods has moved me into tears and into deep reflection. What is our Earth Mother asking of us in this time? This music was chosen to tell the story of my own journey into this question. It's an invitation to open into your own flame and to support releasing, transforming and welcoming new beginnings. As Bība shares so eloquently in this mix, “It’s time for a change of skin. This shedding is underway. Snake shows us that this shedding is by fire. The skin burning away is a skin full of injustices, anger and violence. [The fire] is symbolic of moving away from the old ways and making way for the new. In these flames, our anger can now be seen, our shadow revealed by the glowing light. And in this fire now, it’s time to heal. At this time of great shedding, an energy channel is open- a line of light. This line of light is our lineage. Our path to awakening. This energy is open to all beings on earth to come into alignment with the unfolding mystery of our individual and collective evolution.”

This musical soul-tapestry – filled with many waves, breaking me open deeper to Life, and all her mysterious cycles--has taken me over 1 years to weave: many many cycles of letting go, sheddings, dying and being re-born with mud and grace, in order to meet this precious Life as it is, with all of it's spectrums. 

These times we are currently living in are filled with countless opportunities to break down and/or to break open:  it is my deep prayer for humanity that we continue to find beauty, grace and empowerment in all that is breaking/crumbling/transforming, inside and outside of us...this musical tapestry is a prayer for the Human Spirit, and for the seeds we plant for the generations to come.

I dedicate this mix to the eternal Life of Liv: thanking you for your presence, your love, your grace, for breaking open human hearts to life...I dedicate this musical prayer to Liv's parents: may they be graced by this eternal love, in all moments of this precious Life.

May these frequencies touch a place in you where deep peace resides, no matter outer circumstances.
