This evening was a deep portal, awakening the hearts and souls inside the Berlin-Universe:  bringing together our voices, our dances, our prayers, our humanity...Bringing down heaven onto this Earth, together:  no longer waiting for permission...!

Such deep deep gratitude to humble-warrior Uria Tsur for holding this sacred space for our inter-connected Tribe, to sister Juli Fox for going through the fires to organize this gathering with her fierce visions, and to my inter-connected Berlin Family:  I have experienced a lot of grief leaving you the past 9 months, and being able to play music and gather with you in such a sacred way is an answer to deep prayers...Finally, playing music in a Church!

🔸 Great Spirit:  please allow me to break more open to this Life, to hold more wonders inside my heart, and be a vessel of peace and power upon this world 🔸

This musical soul-tapestry – filled with many waves, breaking me open deeper to Life, and all her mysterious cycles--has taken me over 1 years to weave: many many cycles of letting go, sheddings, dying and being re-born with mud and grace, in order to meet this precious Life as it is, with all of it's spectrums. 

These times we are currently living in are filled with countless opportunities to break down and/or to break open:  it is my deep prayer for humanity that we continue to find beauty, grace and empowerment in all that is breaking/crumbling/transforming, inside and outside of us...this musical tapestry is a prayer for the Human Spirit, and for the seeds we plant for the generations to come.

I dedicate this mix to the eternal Life of Liv: thanking you for your presence, your love, your grace, for breaking open human hearts to life...I dedicate this musical prayer to Liv's parents: may they be graced by this eternal love, in all moments of this precious Life.

This 3 hour journey was recorded in the sweet morning hours of the Ambyss Stage, in the middle of the vortex portal that was and is OZORA Festival:  

Lovingly named a "Psychedelic Tribal Gathering", this visionary festival really cracked my artist-heart & elder-raver-spirit open...I had multiple moments of releasing tears from the beauty around me:  from the exquisite electronic music, to the visionary art surrounding me, to all of the diverse open-hearted humans swimming in my field:  reminding me of the spiritual roots of house-music and rave-culture that shaped me in the late 90's, and continues to shape me...such a blessing to receive this medicine.

To be able to weave my musical contribution into this rich-tapestry was an honor, and enlivened my artistic spirit (who does not enjoy formulas or being put into boxes)...I loved being in an open space of infinite possibilities, and I bow to the open minds & souls that received these frequencies:  journeying between Ambient, Medicine Music & no tracks above 90 bpm, creating a sweet-womb-cocoon for the morning.

This mix is devoted to the reverence & protection of our Sacred Oceans—the Womb of Life—especially to a sacred Coast-line that is currently under threat:  on the Cacao Coast of Bahia, in Brazil, one of my beloved homes.

It is the greatest prayer that this coastline is honored & protected for the pristine beauty it holds & the cultural and historical legacy it vibrates & represents, and that the building of Porto Sul & FIOL (and extraction-based plans for Bahia) are seriously re-considered.  I pray to be an instrument to support the voices of the local activists, indigeous & cultural leaders from this region, and serve & listen with my heart and soul.

This mix was mid-wifed in Virgo Season 2024, during the invitation to play a stunning private Urban Medicine Temple Celebration—Funky Funghata—celebrating the marvelous life and path of my beloved sister & inter-galactic healing-artist Revati (from @slowing):  this ceremonial gathering was both a magnificent celebration of life and relationships woven over years & years, and also an anchoring in of cosmic frequencies, so deeply needed in the middle of such potent urban landscapes. 

Bowing to all of the spirits that helped to mid-wife this Temple, gratitude that the sacred is infused EVERYWHERE, when we shift our perspective to feel and receive it's mirroring...May the frequencies of the music and prayers ripple outwards, into this world-in-transition:  We are the medicine 💎

A few weeks ago I had the honor & PLEASURE to initiate a new vision and project into the Berlin-o-sphere:  Djing the first Flow Dance | Women's Ecstatic Dance--in the epic Genezareth Church—hosted by a visionary krew of EPIC women that have been feeling a void, and are now filling it with tsunamis of SOUL JUICE and purpose.

This was FAR beyond being a “nice” event hosted by women for women:  this was a declaration of female bodies unapologetically taking in their space, a portal of liberation (recognizing & not bypassing our privileges to dance and move so freely), and it was like we were all collectively drinking a cup of sweet nectar after being in the desert-of-modernity:  our hungry/thirsty bodies were SOAKING up this nourishment & empowerment, clearly revealing how NEEDED such spaces are for the female-bodied, and what a LACK there actually is.

I've been pondering the subtle (and not so subtle) undertones of misogyny that penetrates most aspects of the dominant structures found in our world (that either objectifies or suppresses female bodies, not to mention the suppression of feminine/cyclical nature of all living-sentient-beings)....I've also encountered a LOT of unconscious patterns within the  “conscious-scene” as a female DJ over the years (territorialism competition, entitlement, extraction-based-lack-of-relationality), so this co-creation with these fabulous creatrixes was TRUE NECTAR for my sensitive-rebel-hearted-artist-soul...FULL SUPPORT!

From the Great Kosmic-Womb--the Great Slippery-Mystery--the Pussy-Portal widens-opens-deepens:  the gateway to Life,  the gateway to death and impermanence, the gateway to remembering where we all came from...that we came here with a Purpose, a Purpose often revealed and un-masked in trying times like this one, globally & locally.

My heart swells with sadness-anger-madness-powerlessness often, when I tune into the current state of affairs on the planet…Music is my remedy, my medicine, my soothing balm to uplift and empower my mind and soul…Tapping into it’s healing frequencies, it’s warm embrace, allows me to feel the hope that my life has purpose, that the path of humanity has it's golden purpose, that there are infinite possibilites always available...

In this 3rd juicy birth of the Vaganika Shamanika series, I sampled the late-great American-Poet Maya Angelou, her epic poem "Still I Rise”…This is my battle-cry-booty-call for the Global Awakening of the hearts of humanity, in the form of a musical mix-sound-collage...this is my humble offering to the world, my offering to the feminine within us all (completely beyond gender concepts) that longs to heal us and open our hearts WIDE open, our whole beings wide open to BEAUTY AND TRUTH in the face of adversity.

Shout-outs go to all the human-Womb-Warriors of radical love, kindness & truth that realize that none of us get out of here alive, and there is no time to waste on doubts of whether or not one is worthy of shining their truth in their lives…It’s time to RISE the F UP, from the inside-out:  together, locally, globally. Yes, it is in this spiraling downwards, this descent into slowing down and the state of being, that we face our emptiness and restlessness. It's in the darkness that the transformation takes place, where that which we surrender to, creates the soil for new evolutions to take place. 

Take heart: softness and release are never far away. Let the thoughts and feelings come and welcome them home. 

Feel the earth underneath you and trust: Winter and the void is where all guidance, all dreams, all creativity and all of life come from. 

What is your greatest prayer? How deeply can you surrender? How soft can you become?

A long and winding journey filled with dew, moss, mud, sweat, fire and stones...an invitation to cultivate appreciation for the Autumn of our cycle. As our bodies begin to sensitize and slow down, this often highly misunderstood phase can be full of gold if we simply LISTEN.

An offering of Melancholic Bliss: feeling the sweetness of what happens when true sadness is allowed to move through.  The bon-fires of rage making space for the holy NO FUCKING WAY, not this time...Hidden messages, reminding us to remember that death not only exists, it is nearer than we think, which ultimately gives all of life it's meaning.  Smelling the beckoning of death, transformation, mud & rest…

A personal story from Alma:  My ex-partner used to make fun of me whenever I'd put on music like Tori Amos right before my bleed...he used to joke and say it was Vagina-Music. I remember my younger-pleasing-self laughing lightly, shaking it off, but internally being triggered as fuck.  This music is for that younger-self of mine that couldn't speak up for herself, couldn't be more proud of my vaginika-frequencies, who didn't know how to NOT please, who didn't know boundaries/anger...I am in love with every freaking tapestry of sound woven into this mix:  true melancholic bliss ❤

It’s 2020 and our world is literally burning for (global/personal) transformation like never before in our human history:  “One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star” Nietzsche wrote back in the day, and CHAOS certainly is the order of our times:  

With all of the chaos, fear & destruction around us, there certainly needs to be deaths-upon-deaths of the old to make room for future seeds & new dawnings…healing upon healing for the old patterns of the past to be fully seen and forgiven…change-upon-changes:  inside our hearts, minds, & purposes for living.  Shit. is. REAL.

Living during the times of this Great Transition ain’t nothing. It requires all of us: our bigness and greatness, and our humbleness & shadows, our inner-children being cradled, our inner-adults calling us out on our own shit, our ancestors at our backs, future generations whispering to our souls, for us to surrender, and for us to follow it's organic-wise-path.

🔸Deep peace--in this very moment--is the prayer and is the path. 🔸
