Chitarrista e compositore,  si forma musicalmente a Palermo, dove studia  jazz e  musica classica. Dopo varie esperienze artistiche in Italia, si trasferisce a Boston nel 1999 grazie a una borsa di studio e si diploma in chitarra jazz al Berklee College of Music nel 2001. Ha effettuato concerti in Italia, Austria, Olanda, Germania, Svizzera, Rep.Ceca, Francia, Spagna, Stati Uniti, Slovacchia e  collaborato con artisti del calibro di Gary Burton, Bob Moses, Karl Berger, Paul Jeffrey, Ferenc Nemeth, Andrea Parkins;  ha fatto parte dello staff docenti del Berklee College collaborando con Bob stoloff,  Kevin Mahogany e Bill Pierce. Dopo l’intensa esperienza negli Stati Uniti,  rientra in Italia dove svolge a tempo a pieno attività didattica e concertistica. E’ attualmente docente presso i Conservatori di Musica di Palermo e Campobasso.

Human as Possible, also known as HAP, is a sound collective founded by composer Giovanni Di Giandomenico, sound artist Marcello Cangemi and electroacoustic musician Aladin Ilou. They all come from Palermo, Italy and are now based in Berlin.

HaP’s music takes advantage from the different backgrounds of each member. They have made deliberate efforts to avoid being strongly associated with any musical genre.

What's in a name?
“Almendra” is the Spanish name of the almond, the fruit whose earliest varieties came from China, carried via the Silk Road to the Middle East and the countries which surround the Mediterranean Sea. The word "almond" comes from the Greek αμυγδαλη (amygdalē), an almond, and "amygdala" is how is now called the brain structure which has a key role in the processing and memory of emotions.
The almond is highly revered in many cultures all over the World. Explorers ate almonds as sustenance as they travelled the Silk Road. In the Old Testament, the almond was a symbol of watchfulness and promise due to its early flowering. In classical times Romans tossed almonds at the bride and groom to wish the couple fertility, prosperity and luck. In India, eating almonds is believed to be good for the brain, and the Chinese consider the almond a symbol of female beauty.
Modern nutritional science shows that almonds are incredibly rich in dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals, and research cannot stress enough the health benefits of a regular consumption of these precious gifts Nature gives us.
Nowadays almonds are products of excellence local to Almendra Music's homeland, Sicily.
