Debuting Ricki Dale: “my intension is that i want people to feel my music” 

When the r’n’b rhythms in “The Truth Is” hit the eardrums, it's almost impossible 
to fight the urge to nod your head to the music. 

The debut single from 38-year-old 
Ricki Dale has just been released on Det Bette Pladeselskab, and the thought 'Hit song’ appears involuntarily. 

But for the singer-songwriter, a hit is not an end in itself. 

“ I don't make music to become a millionaire, but so that I can touch people with my songs and that my music makes people feel something, ”Ricki Dale explains. 

It's not just as a singer that Ricki Dale excels as a musician. When he records his songs, he plays most of the instruments himself.

He started playing drums when he was 6 years old, and three years later he threw himself over the guitar. 

As a 12-year-old, he discovered his talent for singing, and this ability has brought him to the homes of millions of Danes via TV shows. 

In 2003 he was among the last 30 participants in the program Idols on tv3, and in 2017 he reached the 5 chair challenge in X-Factor with his duo KEEN. 

On DR’s Career Cannon, Ricki Dale's songs have received quite a few plays, and it is no stranger to him to stand on stage in front of an audience and spread alot of joy. 

“I am a fun loving person, and my songs are about life. 
I hope “The Truth Is” reaches something in alot of people, 
”he concludes.
