29 year old Romanian producer Vlad Rusu appears to build up slowly but surely one of his biggest dreams. Turning a hobby into something bigger with hard work and passion is how you can describe shortly how he entered the music scene. Starting as a producer in 2009 he made it on Beatport right away with his first progressive house production "Last Night In Ibiza". He continued to release original tracks and remixes with various labels and manages to hit for the first time a respectfully spot in Top 100 Electro-House Tracks on Beatport, with the track "Shockrave", a collaboration between Vlad Rusu and the australian producer Jason Risk. Following that he continues to release another massive tracks with Peak Hour Music where he met Fred McLovin, the guys who contribued to another spotlight release in Vlad Rusu's career. "Bongas" was released in 2013 on DIM MAK Records, hand picked by Steve Aoki himself for his compilation "DIM MAK NEW NOISE VOL. 5". In 2014 he joined Bonerizing Records, releasing two big singles "Here Comes The Boom" and "Parallax" which sent him again with both tracks in Top 100 Electro House Tracks on Beatport. 

As a DJ he started in 2012, at Fusion Festival in Romania, playing on the mainstage for the first time ever in front of a crowd, next year becoming one of the highlights of Fusion Festival 2013 line up and another big festival from Romania, Peninsula. Doing a couple of club gigs also, he quickly fall in love with live acts and playing in front of big crowds, sharing his way of living music out loud!

In 2011 he became a resident DJ at one of the biggest online radio stations, Digitally Imported (di.fm), with the weekly radio show called "Club Motion" which became very popular along the years and one of the highlights of Club Sounds channel, along other big radio shows like "Hardwell on Air", "Planet Perfecto" with Paul Oakenfold, "Wake Your Mind" with Cosmic Gate, "Group Therapy" with Above & Beyond, "International Departures" with Myon & Shane 54, "Crossroads" with First State and many more. Sharing the newest and the best releases and exclusive tracks at the moment combined with a lot of personal edits, tracks and remixes, Vlad Rusu takes you in a long and excited musical journey every week where electro house music, progressive, deep house, tech-house, and even trace music fits together perfectly in a one hour set. "Club Motion" radio show is also available on iTunes as an official podcast, so you can subscribe and make sure you don't miss any of the new episodes.

As a producer he received feedback along the time from important names in the industry like Fedde Le Grand, Thomas Gold, Showtek, Dimitri Vangelis, George Acosta, Lucky Date, Henry Fong. DJs From Mars, and the list goes on! 

In 2014 he managed to achieve another great and important goal as a producer, collaborating with Bogdan Vix, another great producer from his own country, teaming up together as BVVR and releasing a track called "Fusion", signed and released on IHU Records, part of Armada Music. The track received huge support from Andrew Rayel, Antillas and many more.

Another big step in his musical career happens in early September 2014, when Vlad Rusu will release his first sample pack, containing 10 original ideas of construcion kits, released by one of the biggest labels in the Samples industry, Hy2rogen Samples.

One of the biggest EDM promoters and producers from Romania, Vlad Rusu has a promising future ahead and hope to achieve a lot with his music, and share with many people as possible his way of feeling music.

A respected figure in the Romanian club and radio scene, he’s known for his refined selection, emotional grooves, and immersive sound journeys that bring depth and energy to every dancefloor.

Making waves since early 2025, Sambo, a Romanian DJ and producer, is one of the up & coming producers out there, with his music being played by names like Luciano, Toman, Jamie Jones, Arapu, Priku, Ilario Alicante, Nick Curly, Dennis Cruz, Fleur Shore, Sirus Hood, Demuir, etc.
Following his latest debut on Machaca La Membrana, Luciano’s newest label within the Cadenza Group, called “Sweet Dreams”, he delivers three tracks full of funk-fuelled rhythms, premiered in Ibiza at full mid-season and making noise all over the world.

His sets have been appreciated and acclaimed in clubs such as Bucharest’s well-known Nook, Hare, Control, Monteoru, to name a few, as well as at events like Funktastika & Nevermind.

Additional notable appearances include Untold Festival, Electric Castle, Neversea, and Massif among the most well known Romanian festivals.

Co-founder of Discognito, he has managed to gather an independent electronic music hub focused on pushing forward-thinking sounds and cultivating next-generation talent.
