James Lotion is a Berlin-based DJ known for genre-bending sets that bring playful, sexy, and unapologetically queer energy to the floor. Blending house, techno and offbeat club sounds, his selections are all about joy, expression, and emotional release.

In 2014 he founded @sweatrave, a queer and trans DJ collective and party born in Copenhagen and now rooted in Berlin. Built on the idea of “dancefloor healing,” SWEAT creates space for queer and trans communities to feel seen, safe, and celebrated.

This mix is a gay walk through four decades of dance music—channeling the floor as a place of resistance, release, and radical joy. From iconic house anthems to contemporary club bangers, it celebrates love and community, all wrapped in James Lotion’s signature sexy sound. Whether you’re getting ready, coming down, or still dancing—this one’s for the lovers, the dreamers, and the queers who never left the floor.

Hannah Todt gathers five performers around a flute-like installation, whose tones can be explored and woven into a flowing sonic tapestry. Gradually, these tones merge into a collective composition, embodying the interplay of multiple lungs in sync and revealing the deep bond between breath, sound, and gesture. The work traces the abstraction of sound within space, as well as the fluid transitions between instrument and orchestra, note and melody, individual and collective. The installation itself functions as a modular composition, revealing its structure of airflow and tonal modules—where notes are inhaled, exhaled, held, stopped, or prolonged—and prompting a reconsideration of how we communicate, or even choose to withhold, in collective interaction.

I made this Set with some of my favorite tracks that I played on festivals and gigs 2025. It´s a hedonistic journey and a genre hopping hour of music that is made for good feelings and good vibes only.

🍾 Drei Geburtstage. Neun Jahre Journey to Tarab. Zehn Jahre Mareia.  Eine Nacht, die kein TÜV abnehmen würde.
🎂 Die drei Geburtstagsmäuse Julia, Mareia & Sebi haben’s geschafft: 
100 Jahre pure Lebensfreude – dazu 10 Jahre Mareia und 9 Jahre Journey to Tarab, die immer noch nicht wissen, wo der Ausgang ist, aber dafür bestens wissen, wo sich selbst das letzte Nebelfluid versteck hat.
💨 Taucht mit uns ein ins Nebelmeer, wo die Bässe rollen.  Wir werfen mit Seifenblasen, Erinnerungen und sehr viel Liebe.  Die Nacht wird köstlich sprudelig und versüßt mit einer Prise Verrücktheit.

🎇 Stimmung? spielstabil.  Erwachsen werden? Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal…

Was soll man groß schreiben, die Stadtflucht war für uns das Sommerhighlight. So viel liebe Menschen, so viel Herzblut und Detail, es war einfach alles ein Träumchen. Um die Sommergefühle in der kalten dunklen Jahreszeit wieder zurückzuholen, hier etwas verspätet unsere Aufnahme. Viel Spaß damit :)

Simml & Seebo spielen ein Full House auf der Stadtflucht 2025

After our first b2b set in Berlin earlier this year, we came back just before the end of the year to open one of the finest around: @sektundbrezeln 

One thing's for sure: It certainly was the best opening we've played so far! People showed up early and were ready to dance from minute one. We had the absolute best time with a floor full of smiles and groove. 

Huge thanks to everyone who came early, supported and danced with us! That felt really, really good ☺️
