From April 16th to May 7th, 10 writers, 29 visual artists, and 56 musicians put their heads together to create FORM's most collaborative multimedia event yet. Writers wrote stories, visual artists used them to create cover art, and musicians gave a soundtrack to the narrative and visuals they were given. Together, they formed 10 tracks-- each one with unique cover art and a brilliant backstory.

STORYBOOK is truly the essence of FORM; while multimedia collaboration is no easy feat, the results are always absolutely phenomenal. Every artist is a storyteller in their own right.

All profits from STORYBOOK will be donated to Educando, a nonprofit dedicated to making education in Latin America more accessible.

Self Discovery - a matter of time (Aloeveria Remix)

here's a song that means a lot to me; a cover of a song by the first artist i've ever seen play live, james ivy ! this cover represents a lot of the trauma i had to process and my road to recovery in the past year, was super cathartic to make. let's hope this year treats us all a little nicer :)

I made the drums by pitch shifting and trimming the "Footstep1," "Explosion," "Jump," and "BombTick" sound effects.
I took a very small portion of the roblox death sound and looped it really fast in Sampler in Ableton so it produced a note sound. I processed that sound a little to create the bass and the synth lead.

What's Aloeveria?
We were a band/duo comprised of producers Emma Erdtmann (autumn skies) and Claire Kim, but now it's a solo project run by Emma. 
This was the first song we made under the Aloeveria name, and happens to be one of the biggest projects we've collaborated on so far! Hope you all enjoy!
