Few people bring a truly original sound to house music. At a relatively young age, Hamburgs Martin Stimming did just that, demonstrating a sophisticated yet accessible sound that is beyond his years.

Two years after hooking up with Solomuns Diynamic Music, his 2008 breakthrough hit Una Pena made the electronic world sit up and take notice, and before long acclaimed labels like Freerange, liebe*detail, Buzzin´ Fly, Green and Poker Flat were snapping up his work. 2009 saw him release his immaculate debut album Reflections to great acclaim, cementing his reputation as one of the most exciting new producers of his generation. 

His second album, Liquorice, eschews the normal kick-clap/snare template by and large to explore more interesting and progressive territories, but always with that trademark magpie-like sense of texture, emotion and discovery. 

His productions are filled with a multitude of his own unique, charismatic field recordings, and he never uses the same sample more than once. 

2010 saw him pick up an award for Best Newcomer at the Ibiza DJ Awards, following on from his live show (Stimming does not DJ) stunning the crowds at the islands legendary Pacha, and the finest danceries around the world Πfrom Berlins Panoramabar to Sao Paulo´s D-Edge, Brussels Fuse, London´s fabric and Paris Rex, and plenty more beyond. 

Remixes for the likes of Sascha Funke, Claude VonStroke, Deadmau5, Stephan Bodzin and Tom Novy to name but a few have further spread his influence amongst the discerning house and tech community, and cemented his reputation as one of the scene´s most exceptional producers.

Clearly, Martin Stimming is a precious talent indeed. But then again, not everyone loves liquorice...

The Italian-German composer, DJ and founder of the record label 99CHANTS. He has been releasing music since 2010, but it took self- evaluation and a re-examination of his priorities for August to lean towards the future and follow his most experimental inclinations.
In 2023, his output is harder than ever to define, stretching across genres and disciplines to chafe the heart of the human experience.

They have devoted themselves to revitalising the pearls of Jewish/Yiddish culture – bringing back to life what was once considered to be virtually extinct. The music brings together aesthetics of Sri Lanken diva, M.I.A., French Electro group Daft Punk and Yiddish soul sisters, The Barry Sisters.

JEWDYSSEE taps into their audiences bodies and souls, sweeping them up off their feet with their thunderous beats. Their skill at combining unique electronic beats together with the sounds of the trumpet and clarinet has made JEWDYSSEE appealing to audiences world wide.

The JEWDYSSEE community is growing daily. Besides many appearances in their hometown Berlin,Germany and further european countries, their travel route led them already to the US of A and to Israel in order to spread the „Neshume“, the yiddish soul around.

JEWDYSSEE has masterfully been able to fuse traditional, swing, club and electronic music into a single, yet to be defined, “never yet heard” style. Perhaps this project doesn’t even need a description since the buzzing vibe in front of the concert doors speaks for itself. A rhythmic beat sneaks up from your toes to your head. the sound is loud, it carries you away immediately – beads of sweat in the beat of the music.

Their original style has made them the crossroad of balalaika culture and innovative club music. It is here, where east meets west and Middle Eastern sounds meet those of the east block – making JEWDYSSEE the home of past, present and future sounds!
