The official playlist for the OST Composing Jam: CRUNCHTIME, where musicians and composers around the globe are challenged to compose an original soundtrack of any style for an imaginary game in just 48 hours!

The theme is "Two Worlds" and/or the picture on the album cover (participants are allowed to choose from the two).

This piano medley is from an imaginary game.

In this game, you are the spirit of light and peace, but you're overtrown by the spirit of darkness and war.

It's a story-driven and linear-like game.



Bar 1 - 18: The spirit of darkness gets presented. In the small impro sections, you can imagine him destroying samll things like flowers and bushes, and in the repeated theme sections, he jumps from one place to another with only destruction in his mind.

Bar 19 - 27: The spirit of light comes in and makes the spirit of darkness go away in a quick battle. In bar 27, the spirit of light manages to get rid of it.

Bar 28 - 38: The spirit of light gets presented. She brings back life to the destroyed plants and animals. Imagine aswell a beatiful scenery with huge field of flowers and mountains with a lot of valleys in the background.

Bar 39 - 44: Shock! The spirit of darkness returns and makes thy sky go red, the plant go gray, and the animals squeeze themselfes like sponges. This painful image goes on for a while.

Bar 45 - 60: It's like bar 1 - 18, but imagine the roles of the spirits having switched. The spirit of light tries to return some of the life, going for place to place, hiding form the spirit of darkness. But it's no use, the spirit of darkness has become too powerful.

Bar 61 - 69: Like bar 19 - 27, but this time, it's an epic battle between light and darkness. By the end, the spirit of darkness wins, and the spirit of light has to flee to another place, where darkness hasn't yet fallen over the lands.


This medley only covers the darkest of times, way before the spirit of light regains the lands from the spirit of darkness.



This piano piece was written and performed in about 24h (inicluding when I was not working on it), and was made for the "OST Composing Jam: CRUNCHTIME", hosted by Lone Rabbit.

Fight of the Spirits

OST for the game in the cyberpunk setting. It plays in the location of anarcho-primitivists who want to restore the ancient traditions, but still can not get rid of the technology that permeates every part of the city.

This track was created as the theme for an (imaginary) 8-bit JRPG in which the story unfolds simultaneously on a large, volatile planet ruled by feudal lords, and its only moon: a small, verdant paradise that suddenly faces existential threat from a mysterious power after many centuries of peace. These two disparate worlds have long since stopped all contact with each other, but two inhabitants have found they can reach out across the void to each other through their dreams...

It was originally completed within 48 hours as a submission for the OST Composing Jam: CRUNCHTIME, where the theme for the soundtrack was 'Two Worlds.' Some small changes, mainly to the mix, have been made to the post-jam version.

This track was made using Renoise and some chiptune plugins that I programmed myself using the JUCE framework.

Quantic Dream

Written for OST Composing Jam: CRUNCHTIME.

This theme was composed for a non-existent sci-fi adventure game entitled “Morphing Worlds,” where you journey through a highly technologically advanced world after finding a portal connecting this realm to Earth.

Composition / Relation To "Two Worlds" Theme:

My main ideas consisted of the organic, the more technological/digital realms of music, as well as the fusion of these elements.
This was reflected by the piece beginning with rich orchestral textures - representing the protagonist’s preparations on Earth before setting out on his journey. This shifts into synths and electronics as the protagonist travels through the portal, finding his way to the new world.

Music for fictional game about hero, who got lost in the parallel universe, and have to find portal to his home. There are many worlds and many portals, and his home is just behind "one more world".
