Through Mydrasis, Bassic Records Label DJ Vorpal emphasises the psychedelic and techno foundations of Bassic, whilst injecting a darker driving energy. The boldness of the compilation is complemented by fierce attitude and a heavy slice of steez. A collection of mysterious creatures spawning curious creations capture a glimpse of the dimming day and the soul of the night.

We are ecstatic to be kicking off the 2022 Techgnosis Records lineup with a ferocious showing from the always-impressive Aleckat, who first made his label debut exactly 2 years ago. We celebrate this auspicious occasion with the release of 'Scritchy', a truly exceptional mini-album comprised of 5 brand new creations, with 2 of those getting a proper remix treatment from scene icons Miles From Mars and a collaborative rework from fellow Australian artists, the talented Tomchilla and Lektrk. Aleckat's signature playful-yet-serious blend of progressive and psychedelic techno is on full display here, with each piece boasting a strong thematic flavor and sound design. A 7-track beast by Aussie producer Scionaugh for his first ever psy-tech album!! 

It includes collaborations and remixes by Unknown Concept, John Baptiste, Dysmorph, OnLock, Goof and Arketech. 

The inception of In the Moog started when John Baptiste leant Scionaugh a Moog Mother 32. Scionagh used this opportunity to explore slower tempos focussing on evolving leads and infectious rhythms.

In the Moog blends sleek digital psy-trance sound design with warm analogue instrumentation combining the best parts of psy trance and techno to make a release that is truly psy-tech. 
Influences of the outdoors and the Australian bush, this release highlights the Australian bush techno sound. Every single track on here is produced at a world-class level of quality. 

This is a homage to the genre that has inspired this talented artist and ourselves so much over the years and working with our favourite Aussie artists is just an indescribable honor.
