A low thrumming emanates forth from the edges of the portal before you, its hum as hypnotic as the form that hovers in the sky on the other side. Unbelievably, its form is that which has been recounted endlessly among conspiracists and pulp fiction tales alike - a circular starship with sides that flare gently outwards to form the shape of a saucer. On the horizon, you can make out a cluster of huddled figures seemingly caught in its wake, similarly enthralled as yourself by this perfect specimen of a classical alien craft.
