Richard Hawley (born Richard Willis Hawley, 17 January 1967, Sheffield, England) is a guitarist, singer-songwriter and producer. After his first band Treebound Story (formed while he was still at school) broke up, Hawley found success as a member of Britpop band Longpigs in the 1990s. He later joined the band Pulp, led by his friend Jarvis Cocker. As a solo musician, Hawley has released six studio albums. This track was on the same titled glorious 5th RICHARD HAWLEY album called "COLES CORNER"

I thought i would set my self a challenge with this original chilled trip-hop dub styled instrumental soundtrack, it is entirely created from a single 0.136 sec sample i recorded over the woods of a fly lifting up from a flower, I transformed the sample by mainly time stretching or using pitch shift and morphing the sounds through filters, effects and eq, all the sounds, beats and everything you hear are created from the one fly sample which i added to the beginning of the track just to show you how short and meaningless it is but how it can be transformed giving a full 100% fly flavour with which i take no responsibility for if you are attacked by millions of fly's by playing this track! lool Peace :D

in the early 90's  I played with different Reggae Bands . 
At one of many shows a Lady ( which became my biggest fan ) gave me some lyrics telling me , she saw a few shows and were inspired to write down a few words - could be maybe used for a song .
She always like to stay anonimous and I promise her to do so . 
In 1994 I recorded a demo with sequenzer - but I decided to record it again and did this in 1998 .Analogue recording with Yamaha MT 8 X , I had no drumsticks so I used the Jazz Brush instead . Hope you enjoy ! Thank you for the love , support and stopping by - one love to you :)
