Incursionando en sonidos electrónicos desde los 15 años, Daniel no tardo en encontrar la música TECHNO ,que hasta el día de hoy supo transformarlo en su sonido predilecto en cada una de sus presentaciones. En el año 2014 tuvo su primer presentacion en el conocido Club Raw dando inicio a su perfil como DJ. Buscando lograr en cada uno de sus sets sonidos pesados,envolventes, lineas intensas y con mucha energía.
Teniendo como referentes a djs como Oscar Mulero, Len faki y Slam pero siempre buscando su sonido propio en cada uno de sus sets.
Es unos de los creadores y organizadores de DECODE, un ciclo que esta en pleno crecimiento donde el sonido que  predomina es el techno, dándole oportunidad a todos los talentos locales.
Tambien tiene el placer de formar parte de KOBOLD, ciclo que a tenido el placer de tener en su cabina a artistas internacionales de la talla de Fixon ( Illegal Alien Records) Marla singer (Planet Rhythm - Nachtstrom Schallplatten - Invisible Borders - Berlin) y muchos mas..
. Daniel pudo compartir cabina con grandes artistas de la escena nacional Argentina como PANDY(cocoliche), Diego Cid, Dario Molina (Vincent/Kobold) YYYY (Weekend circuit)Ahri (Kobold) Germano (Vincent) y muchos mas.

TONKASSETTE ist eine Eventreihe für elektronische Musik mit einer starken Leidenschaft für Techno. 2017 in Leipzig von Sledge und befreundeten Künstler*innen aus Clubs und Kollektiven gegründet, ist sie fest in der lokalen Szene verwurzelt. Gespielt wird unter anderem im Elipamanoke und So&So in Leipzig sowie im Charles Bronson in Halle/Saale.

Die TONKASSETTE Podcast-Serie präsentiert auf SoundCloud regelmäßig handverlesene DJ-Mixe von Künstler*innen aus Leipzig. 
Die TONKASSETTE Mix-Serie wird ausschließlich von Sledge gestaltet und versteht sich als Plattform für seine Definition von Techno.

Musikalisch ist Sledge seit jeher dem puristischen Techno-Sound zugetan – Techno in seiner reinsten Form: kompromisslos, roh, direkt und klar strukturiert. Mit einem Arbeitstempo zwischen 135 und 142 BPM verlieren seine Sets nie den Groove, selbst wenn es mal etwas rauer zur Sache geht. Bei Sledge steht das Mixing im Vordergrund, wobei er sich auf minimalistische Strukturen stützt. Dabei verbindet er futuristisches Sounddesign mit dem Geist des 90er-Jahre-Techno und formt so seine ganz eigene Definition von Techno.

TONKASSETTE is an event series for electronic music with a deep passion for techno. Founded in Leipzig in 2017 by Sledge and fellow artists from local clubs and collectives, it is firmly rooted in the city’s underground scene. Venues include Elipamanoke and So&So in Leipzig, as well as Charles Bronson in Halle/Saale.

The TONKASSETTE Podcast Series on SoundCloud regularly features carefully curated DJ mixes by artists from Leipzig – diverse, authentic, and crafted with great attention to detail. TONKASSETTE Mix Series is exclusively curated by Sledge, serving as a platform for his personal definition of techno.

Musically, Sledge has always been drawn to a purist techno sound – techno in its purest form: uncompromising, raw, direct, and tightly structured. With a tempo range between 135 and 142 BPM, his sets never lose their groove, even when things get a bit rough. For Sledge, mixing is at the forefront, built on minimalist structures. He blends futuristic sound design with the spirit of ’90s techno, creating his own distinct interpretation of the genre.
