Metaphix is a Swiss-based DJ and music producer. His hometown is Berlin, Germany.

Metaphix has been producing music since his childhood and plays drums since he was 6 years old.
In his teenager years, he was confronted with the music genre Psychedelic Trance and immediately developed a deep connection not only to music itself, but to the entire culture around the genre.
He likes the music until today and started to produce music in 2016 in this music genre.
In 2017, Metaphix started playing at parties and learning how to play his own music at parties.

In early 2018 he played for the first time as a DJ and in late 2018 he signed a label contract with PsyTribe CH.
In 2019 Metaphix opened the Whisper Lounge with Psynimalistic, PsyConstruct and the entire label PsyTribe CH.

End of 2019 Metaphix announced the label contract with PsyTribe CH for internal reasons and is now DJ and producer without a contract.

primeiro projeto -Cyclone Adverte

Fernando starts producing psychedelic trance music in 2014 as the name of Shivalayam, with the intent to unleash the ideas without limits. He release his music on the little personal label Psysomatic Records, but in 2016 the great german label Juicy Noise Records, listening his style, calls him to release some tracks, and the first album “Science & Religion”. After years the productions continues also under several projects like Laozi and the new Akai Pacific, focussed on progressive psy-trance music. The last album Semiramis bring the psytrance into a new level, because he never stops to learn and create new sounds. The 2018 is the year or change with the creation of the new label “Nazca Vibes”. This baby is focussed into more mature and complex tracks, new experiments and alternative creations. Old label Psysomatic Records do not stop, but we will concentrate to the new. The first release is a three track EP “Spirit of the Ancestors”: the old meets the new, but the trip is at the begin...good vibes!!

For the 2019, Fernando starts a new parallel project called "Yerba Divina", focussed on more technical and psychedelic music, were trance is always in progression. The 2020 it's the year of revolution: thanks to his good last tracks, Yerba Divina joins the family of the great indian psytrance label "Brahamasutra Records". The first release is a solo track in the free VA called Lockdown Tales, made with all members of the Brahamasutra family for the covid worldwide lockdown. Then is the time for the first EP: Arborea, with three tracks dedicated to the beautiful universe of our planet. In 2021 a track called Atokirina for the VA selected by Djane Bhavani and the second EP with 4 tracks: The Nexus Network, a journey into the cyberpunk world. Now the 2022 is another year of great music with a solo track for the VA conducted by Reza Edge "Tandava" and the last EP called Animus Nocturni, when a Great Shaman will drive the experiences.

'Mysthetik' is an invitation to experience sound as mysticism. Joel Hostettler’s experimental style weaves spiritual, dramatic, and quirky elements into music that resonates deeply and defies traditional boundaries.

Since 2013, mysthetik has explored various styles, including dark and forest psytrance, jungle DnB, and harder, darker techno/trance. Influenced by psychedelic genres, mysthetik’s sound stands out with its high-quality production, rooted in extensive experience as a mixing and mastering engineer. Known for his expertise in sound design, he crafts music rich in contrast, dissonance, and artistic finesse.

Mysthetik has been DJing since 2013, performing psytrance and techno at both smaller and larger parties and festivals around Basel. The '10 years of mysthetik' album serves as a retrospective compilation, showcasing the evolution of his sound and vision, inviting listeners on profound, psychedelic sonic journeys.

Looking ahead, mysthetik aims to connect with labels in psytrance, jungle DnB, and techno to further expand his artistic reach.
