A ten track various artist compilation compiled by label dj & manager 'FLOKI' to mark the tenth anniversary of releasing underground psychedelic trance music on Galactic Groove Records.

Galactic Groove Records is an independent psychedelic trance record label based in the south of Ireland.
Launched in 2013 by Dj Floki to promote & contribute to the underground psytrance scene on the Emerald Isle & beyond.
The first release, a 3 track EP from renowned Brazilian night psy producer 'Diksha' went out on all major download platforms in February 2014 with another 2 EP's to follow shortly after.
Since then the label sound has evolved into a much deeper, darker form, now focused on what some consider a modern take on the dark & forest psychedelic trance subgenres.
Galactic Groove Records strive to promote & release high quality and original underground Psychedelic Trance music from some of the leading artists in the scene & are dedicated to discovering & honing new talent .

A journey where brutality meets the sublime. A pounding, mechanical rhythm grinds forward like steel under pressure, while ghostly bell-like tones echo through the mix — reminiscent of a horror film’s haunting chime. Layered dark chorus textures drift in and out, creating a spectral presence that feels both sacred and menacing. The soundscape is ethereal yet oppressive, as if ritual and machinery collided in a cathedral of shadows. It’s a track that doesn’t just move the body — it transforms the listener, dragging them through an ordeal that reveals something luminous within the darkness.

When I was desperately missing the dense forest and had no choice but to stay in the concrete city I visionized as if I'm in in between the forest and recorded this set. It was to get rid of my Monday Forest Blues and baaam, I mentally and musically reached in between the woods. I absolutely love how organic and beautiful the shrooms blend in the forest. They blend together perfectly yet goofily and groovily. This inspiration made me record this set and draw this artwork and here I am sharing yet another story with you guys through my 50 mins set of pure forest and dark psytrance. Enjoy, boom!

Alphacid is the project of Jasmine raised in Bombay but originally from The Himalayas, India. 

Her first ever musical encounter was with psychedelic rock at a very young age & gradually fell in love with punk, goth, grunge and metal.

 Soon enough in her teenage years her childhood friends took her to witness her first ever live act and thats when she could naturally resonate with all her rock & roll influences with this underground style of music. 

This lil' metalhead started being frequent on the dancefloors in India and couldn't resist engaging with sounds that particularly reminded her of her roots (playful, dense, mystical forest). She loves infusions of foresty sounds with sonic, metallic dancefloor rippers that are emotional, deep, twisted and driving.
