Welcome to my cloud! 

I'm a songwriter and a musician who's almost completely self-taught. I've been playing drums and keyboards since the 1980s but there have been times when I don't play at all. A suitable band always helps...

Some of my songs have been released on an album or two but I've got lots of material that will probably never be released. I'll upload some of these songs and ideas here.

In recent times I've updated my synthesizer equipment. Now I finally have some excellent instruments with my own unique sounds available at home with me. I'll be using them even on my demos later when I get the inspiration to write songs again. I'm still in progress of figuring out a better working set up for my humble home studio's recording equipment.

Cathryn Green was born in East London, South Africa. 
She began writing her own songs whilst studying to be an accountant, having spent her childhood years discovering music through her mother's diverse record collection. 
She made a decision to move to Ireland to pursue her love for music and soon began to develop her craft.  It became apparent that Cathryn's unique vocal style aligned to her uncanny ability to write haunting contemporary music sparked interest from various press and media, not only in Ireland but also in the UK and Europe.  Jackie Hayden (the man who originally signed U2) declared Cathryn Green, Best Female Solo Act of 2011 in the respected national Irish publication, Hot Press stating "this is so good we could soon be claiming her as one of our own.”
