From the school of the Self-Taught where many masters rise up from, J-Path’s inception into the beat making multiverse has been a cool decade in the making. Growing up in various South & Central American cultures, speaking multiple languages and collaborating with numerous demographics, J-Path quickly developed a strong sense of adaptability allowing him to bring a very unique and personal depth to his music. Experiments in sound have been akin to personal awakenings, with expressions in each new genre developing in him new capacities and spinning off into projects involving the hip hop underground, the K Pop overground and plenty in between. Dubbed the Drum & Bass/ Dubstep Ambassador for his mother country Korea, J-Path has done his dues: DJing with and hosting international artists, creating a local fan base with events to boot, coaching up and comers in Seoul via his Beat Production Program and bringing an ear honed to obsessive perfection under the umbrella of Electronic Music. Etched into his sound is the love for deep, soulful, textured landscapes reminding us that creativity is never limited to one category and can always take us on a journey if we so choose it.

SUBATOMIC SOUND is back with a ground shaking, political scorcher from Jamaica's massive dancehall reggae star Anthony B on Subatomic Sound System & Nomadic Wax' re-upped "NYC-2-Africa" riddim, recorded in Africa, NYC, and Jamaica. In response to the universal anti-corruption message, it was remixed by producers from around the globe, essentially musically translating into the dialect of what's happening on their streets, resulting in twelve amazing versions we couldn’t have imagined, from cumbia to tropical to all sorts of dubstep twist ups as well as vintage rude boy roots, hip hop, and dancehall reggae!

Anthony B’s politically charged anthem is particularly riveting because it called out JA’s Prime Minister Bruce Golding at the time he was struggling with civil war surrounding the United States-requested extradition of “Dudus,” a don from the Tivoli Gardens garrison district of Kingston and a leader of the Prime Ministers main constituency—an obvious point of hypocrisy.

Anthony B recorded his vocals in Kingston in April 2010, as the the city broke out in riots capped off by the Tivoli Gardens military extradition raid. Tensions were further heightened by a drought that led to water supplies to many of Kingston’s residents being cut off for days at a time.

When Anthony first heard the African drums, his eyes lit up and he and his crew began a classic African call and response chant to the beat. After listening to the riddim over and over on repeat, he demanded to go straight into the studio and, without a word written, delivered a blistering performance, waiving his lighter and literally jumping off the walls of the vocal booth while singing like a man on fire.

The Dream was briefly put on hold as another was filled when Mr. Flex immigrated to the United States in 1996. Mr. Flex is a professional Reggae artist who has been chanting on the microphone and entertaining music lovers with skills developed in his homeland of Jamaica for the past twenty years.
Mr. Flex with his charisma has accomplished a successful promotion and singing career. He is a Solo Artist backed by bands such as Riddim Rydda Posse, The Blade and Infinity Bands. His intention is to continue to work within the worldwide music scene and bring true Jamaican flavor to audience everywhere.

Because of my korean and german roots I'm living between two different cultural worlds, that make me both Korean and German. The two cultures in my heart let me think about identity, ethnics and nations maybe more than other people. This coincidence led me to Reggae &amp; Dub music. There is still lots of hate, struggle and prejudice in the world, but life tought me the importance of being tolerant, open-minded and free to live a conscious life in harmony. My music is deeply influenced by the pursuit of freedom and my destiny of being half korean and half german. I wanna thank you all for the opportunity to take part in Korea's Dub scene and I feel honored to help the scene keep growing. ONE LOVE~
