Alphawaves is the brainchild of Alexandros Tsotsos, a DJ and electronic music producer known for his boundary-pushing work in the underground electronic scene. Drawing from years of experience and a passion for sonic innovation, Tsotsos launched Alphawaves as a project dedicated to exploring new frontiers in sound design and music production. With a focus on deep, immersive atmospheres and cutting-edge rhythm structures, Alphawaves serve their debut release on Lowpass.

The debut release from Alphawaves, whose sound draws heavy inspiration from the iconic pioneers of dub techno like Basic Channel, Maurizio, and Rhythm & Sound, is a celebration of the raw power and emotional depth found in analog production. With deep, textured rhythms, immersive atmospheres, and hypnotic basslines, Alphawaves pushes boundaries in the underground sound space, bringing a modern twist to a classic genre. this recording was taken from my 3hr opening set for the kajunga stage at great beyond.

i played music that i thought would acompany the bright sunny day while people were just stepping foot onto the farm.

there are various mistakes and train wrecks here and there but thats just what happens sometimes.

note:the first 20 or so minutes of the recording are pretty compressed.
