Everything started as the darkwave/post-punk project under the 'Moon Noir' name in 2021.  Only three singles were released in 2021. After a break, the band decided to change the name to 'Šalta Juoda Kava' (Cold Black Coffee) in 2023. 
Our music is like coffee that has been left and forgotten on the table for a while. And because of that it got cold.  If more sugar has been added to it, it will be sweeter and if no sugar was added at all, it will be bitter. So 'Šalta Juoda Kava' sometimes may be cold and dark, sometimes bitter or imperfect and sometimes even too sweet to your ears.
