It was the new moon.
I could not fell asleep.
But very early in the morning
I guess I dozed off for a second
Just before the first light of dawn
 
I dreamed of the shaman and the black panther.
They were coming from above to get me.
They took me to the center of the Amazon forest
For a ritual of sacred plants
 
I drank the nectar.
The plant entered in me.
The shaman was playing his flute
And the panther began to speak to me in symbols:
 
"I am the quiet power endowed with a great capacity for observation.
This ability to observe is my extrasensory ability.
I represent your dark human dualities. Mystery, what is hidden, night and darkness.
 
"There is something Machiavellian in the human psyche."
 
"It is with my medicine that you will be able to outsmart your executioner, jump on your own prey, your own enemy and dissolve it."
 
"To achieve your ends, you will have to use the energy of the shadows.
It's like using the dark energy of your executioner to better make him fall into his nets."
 
"The risk is to take a liking to it and succumb to the temptation of wickedness, hatred and vice which are much more exhilarating and exciting than kindness, love and righteousness."
