When I first heard this piece by Hang Massive I instantly heard subtle trap grooves flowing in and around their beautiful Hand Pan melodies. This was mid-winter 2021 Melbourne lockdown. In my morning mycelium walks, the sun kisses my skin and blesses me with its warmth.

Music bloomed hope in me for the Sun's Rays to once again shine on humanity as it passed through its darkest passage of the pandemic. And so it seems fitting now as we move on beyond the most challenging parts of the pandemic, for this sunlight to shine for you with its release.

Tikki Masala and Gowax have side tracked in to the Psy chill genre and bring you their first psy chill track "Energize" . It's a world beat version of upcoming Goa track "Manipura "
Psybient, short for psychedelic ambient, (also known as ambient goa, psychill, psydub), is a style of electronic music that contains the elements of psychedelic trance, ambient, downtempo, dub, ethnic music, "new age" music.[30] It is 2 times slower than psytrance (generally under 110 BPM), usually with a less defined rhythm. It often has a slow rhythmic base and may use ambient elements, filtered and reworked with many effects, to achieve a particular psychedelic sound.
Psybient may include electronic tracks, traditional instruments, archaic vocal techniques and elements of meditative singing. Often electronics are combined with ethnic and modern instruments, cosmic keyboard sounds and overtone music. Psybient is usually played in the chill out room or areas at music festivals (mostly trance festivals and rave parties). Enjoy!

Since their very first psytrance parties more than ten years back in time the Berliners Kevin Hentschel and Rafael Gomez never stopped experimenting with electronic sounds. Alongside multiple excursions into various sub-genres, own label activities and many open air- and club events the two friends concentrate since 2012 on the production of driving psychedelic trance music. After some releases in Spain and further mind blowing experiences while playing large festivals — such as the Fusion Festival — the two musicians re-invented their sound — and themselves — as „Atacama“. Sometimes mysterious, always complex and preferential driving Atacama carry off their listeners in spheres between bygone experiences and oncoming promises where myths and reality, rhythm and movement merge into a cosmic unity.
