In this episode, I’ve invited artists Martin Gilleshoj from Copenhagen, a versatile and adventurous DJ.

Martin is exceptional at creating different atmospheres, and his years of dedication to music have made him a beloved figure in the Copenhagen electronic music scene. 

Besides being a DJ, Martin co-runs the music label Axces Recordings and Proton Records, a vinyl store in the heart of Copenhagen. I met him during my performance in Copenhagen last year and became his fan and friend.

I’m honored to have him share an hour of his musical journey with our listeners in China. I hope you all enjoy Martin’s groove!

Kvrk's live and DJ sets are journeys across the spectrum of techno, trance, electro, acid, ebm sounds. His sound is a deep dive into a world of immersive spatial textures, hypnotic atmospheres and pulsating acidic basslines, all underpinned by pulsating grooves. His music have been released by international labels such as Berlin's Gene On Earth-led Nug-Net, London's Emotional Intelligence, Russia's Exarde, Mexico's NextGen, Poland's Synergy Cult and Romania's Organic Society, as well as co-founding the 'Fiktiv' label in addition to his work as a producer.

Nora Asteroid lands like a Swiss comet in this heady, murky, swirl of an hour. Tunes from Solma, RunaRift, and Maara comprise an hour matching subdued trance logics with dense atmospherics and technical earworms. Comprises neither on drive nor rhythm to deliver something genuinely hypnotic. Gets a bit bouncy towards the end too.

Inner Zone returns to space•lab with an immersive EP exploring the meeting point of deep techno and progressive minimalism, shadowy rhythms and spatial resonance. 

Folded Realm opens the release with a hypnotic pulse, drawing from the darker edges of the Inner Zone sound with precision and restraint. Goa’s Kohra steps in on remix duties, transforming the original into a tunnelling techno weapon — dense, focused, and primed for the floor.

Spiral Form is a slow-burn evolution, unfolding in layers of submerged textures and flickering synth work. Closing the EP, Fallout breaks formation with a menacing, breakbeat-driven excursion through scorched sonic terrain.
