Chill Bro, Power Up 🥊☝️

Many of you may be familiar with the legend of this song, how it pitted a small indie label (Wild Pitch) against the BMG behemoth, and opened doors for Sampling / Remixes. Most likely, you're more familiar with Snap's version than Chill Rob's and this is a problem we'd like to fix. We're hardcore Flava Unit / 45 King fans over here, so our idea with this remix was to create a version focused on Chill Rob that will hopefully make you forget about Snap completely. We built this around a bell-less drum break that we all know and love and turned up the energy a few notches for a Moombahton/ Jazz Dance / B-Boy killer. Includes a hookless, but horny instrumental as well as a version with hook. It's getting kinda hectic!

This song will support the Chicago West Community Music Center whose mission is "to harness the creative potential of individuals through education and to inspire artistic and cultural expression in such a way that helps foster positive relationships across neighborhood lines." We encourage you to visit their site to learn more about how the Center uses Music to inspire Chicago Youth in under-served neighborhoods.

Minha jornada com musica nasceu das caixas empilhadas, das festas juninas que viravam bailes funk,dos bailes que viraram guerra e da guerra que virou rotina.

Nesse universo (carioca) a musica era tudo que chegava,tinha Miami Bass,Stevie B,Mc Marcinho,Bezerra da Silva e muitos outros heróis.
Das matinês pros terreiros,do pancadão das caixas pros toques do ogan.Sincretismo ao ar livre tipo feira de domingo, e tudo vira memória.

E agora ja longe dos costumes que cercavam minha identidade, minha identidade e ainda mais forte. Se tornar um produtor (beatmaker) e comungar descotecando, me conecta com isso tudo.
Me faz observar os ciclos, ou as setas, com direções que eu arrisco dentro de um DAW ou fora do padrão em um Dj Set

Faço musica que ecoa os ciclos.
