As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

With more than 20 years of releases under its belt, Tronic stands to remain a firm techno favourite for its fans with a steady stream of outstanding releases, including its 13 artist albums, which includes Kaiserdiscos forthcoming debut LP on Tronic this November.

Another Dimension displays the duos direction in the production of late, stripping back to their 90s techno roots, with a more dirty, unique and timeless sound. They felt that they have reached another dimension in the studio and this new wave of creativeness formed the basis for the new album.

Compiled by 11 original true techno tracks, each with their own unique elements, we start with the beatless intergalactic arpeggiation opener Vanth, to the more punchy, linear and low-end rumblers like Varuna, Eris and Orcus, creating warehouse-like, gritty textures and sounds.

A glimpse into their more subtle, down tempo and melodic approach, Hydra, Hauma and Sedna offer a hypnotic incorporation of futuristic soundscapes, something which is dominant through the entire album. 

Since their last hit EP Knocking Echoes with Karotte, the guys have teamed up again with him to create the only collaboration track on the album, Namaka. Dark and brooding textures in a low-end mood, accompanied by heady synth work.

The track names some NASA fans may recognize, as they were named after planets within Kuiper Belt, another solar system within our universe. A theme which has transpired into the artwork, as well as a new dimension or era, the duo have entered during the making of this LP in the last year.

A debut collaboration for both artists, ATK026 consists of two original tracks.

Fixation delivers a low end rumble that goes straight into the pumping and hypnotic drive. A punchy and powerful kick sits alongside the cleverly bass/lead pattern, this track doesn’t turn down the pace and takes you into a dark zone.

Raw Code comes at you in full force. An eerie synth hook builds into the searing, swinging hi-hats. Vocal chop plays behind the scenes, as the fuzzy percussion leads us back to that floor pounding kick.

Dutch duo Deep Dimension debut on Rekids with a stomping vocal cut entitled ‘So 1992’ featuring a collaborative remix from label founder Radio Slave and rising star P.Leone.

Jeffrey Hek & Jimmy van de Geijn have been actively DJing for over two decades. The pair paired up as Deep Dimension in 2015, combining their talents to form a signature techno sound comprised of deep basslines and powerful kicks. Launched earlier this year, their vinyl label named GEN X has instantly picked up overwhelming support from the likes of Radio Slave, Tommy Four Seven, Benny Rodriguez, Kobosil, and many more. They now continue their upward trajectory by arriving on Matt Edwards’ respected Berlin based imprint, Rekids.

Thudding kicks are joined by rising synths as pitched up vocals come into play in ‘So 1992’– the result is a rave inspired techno monster designed to throw crowds into frenzy. On the flip, Radio Slave pairs up with Rekids regular P.Leone for a cavernous reimagining complete with rolling percussion, off-beat hats and eerie atmospherics.

Spanish artist Andres Campo makes his Intec debut following previous releases on Second State, MOOD, RUKUS and Odd Recordings

Already championed by some of the biggest names in techno, Andres has risen to fame as a solo artist, but also boasts collaborations with people like Ramiro Lopez and Alberto Ruiz.

Carl Cox is one of the people who regularly supports his tracks and adding Intec to an already impressive back catalogue of labels, this three track EP showcases Andres Campo at his very best.

Hard hitting with hypnotic grooves and captivating atmospherics, this release also has powerful synths making it the perfect peak time EP.

The opening track Cyclone is all about the exhilaration of lead synth and its stabbing rhythms layered with a heavy kick drum and fast flowing clap rhythms.

Ancient Gods ripples with tension as the pulsating percussion rhythms beat like a heart with a heightened pulse rate that's been raised by excitement. With a captivating sense of urgency, this cut will whip the dance floor into a frenzy with the way it teases each and every drop along the ride.

Finishing things is the understated Glaciar which builds steadily towards a twisted crescendo of sinister FX and growls, before its explosive percussion kicks back in. Keeping you on the edge of your seat, its ominous atmosphere is beyond intense.

Young Irish-producer Rebūke continues his rapid ascent to the top with two original productions on Hot Creations, primed and ready for the dancefloor.

Rebūke recalls being worried that Along Came Polly may have been perceived as being “a bit too weird”, but once it caught the attention of Jamie Jones, there was no stopping it. He says that the hype surrounding this EP “is something I’ve never experienced before...and it always get a great reaction”.

On Along Came Polly, Rebūke showcases his innate ability to craft a weirdly, wonderful slice of techno. On the B-side, Rolo is a much housier affair, weaving together a bouncier bassline and sultry vocal stab.

The alias of Reuben Keeney, Rebūke, has only been in business for a short while, but his efforts have already proved to be fruitful. He has garnered support from the likes of Nic Fanciulli and released on labels including Saved and DFTD, as well as having a successful club night under his belt, where highly regarded names such as Camelphat, Darius Syrossian, Ejeca and Huxley have all played.

Premiere: Teenage Mutants - Future [Set About]

Filth on Acid rounds off an excellent year with another fantastic and forward thinking EP. This one comes from Alex Mine, an Italian psychonaut who will take you to the deeper parts of your mind, making sure that every dawn matters after some proper raving.
This is Filth on Acid NOW.

Opener Ultra is a dark, hard hitting techno cut with heavy drums that power you into the night. Ego is more melodic, with a deft synth riff drifting about above train track grooves, and Andromeda then sucks you in with its hypnotic drums and cosmic, sci-fi melodies and shooting synth stabs. Last of all, Dawn Matter is the most astral of the lot, with smooth drums rolling deep and subtle acid pricks disappearing off to the horizon.

This is a superb EP that shows off Alex Mine’s various vital techno styles.

Got a good one here for you all today! One of my absolute favorite producers over the last 4 or 5 years has been Klanguenstler. His range and style are ever changing but one thing remains constant and that is his productions are always top notch. When I heard that he had teamed up with the legendary Alan Fitzpatrick and his label We Are The Brave, my musical spidey sense got all tingly. If you have been following our Track of the Day selections over the last couple of years then you will know how much we appreciate this incredible label. It is a privilege to be able to share this new track “Karma Chords” with you all today courtesy of We Are The Brave and Klangkuenstler.

One of three new originals on the EP, Karma Chords is one of those tracks that makes me feel like I got transported back to the late 90’s warehouses in the Bay Area growing up. A rolling percussive groove gets things going, giving the song that locomotive feel, like it’s constantly driving forward harder and harder until it gets to that top speed. Joining into the fray is a few different ravey synth stabs that really get the track moving and give it a really classic jackin techno vibe. It may take a minute for the track to get moving but when it reaches full speed and the whole arrangement is working in harmony you better watch out cause there is no stopping this train. A year after ‘Modelo’ comes ‘Miracle Of The Rose’, an evocative and authentic development of Horvat’s sound. On ‘Noise’, the vocals of Lelah give way to a stripped-down, reverberant groove.
