First up is Leftback Records' resident Chris Boardman, to kick off Alter Hours' fresh new mix series, ahead of his return to play for Alter Hour in May. Chris is a long time friend of Alter Hour and has influenced my own taste as a DJ, happily sharing his knowledge and music collection when I had just started learning to DJ myself. I knew I could rely on Chris to set off the mix series in a direction I'd like it to continue, and he certainly hasn't disappointed. 

"With this mix I started off dubby and then went more minimal and techy, basically what ya would get on a leftback night from me" - So here's a taste of a Leftback event and the roll he plays, often warming the parties up.

Leftback Records is run by Michael Mclardy and Dudley Strangeways, two excellent producers who have been putting out a huge amount of great material, really making an impact and getting big recognition in the scene.
