Exactly one year after his 2021 release entitled 'The Electro Manifesto', DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2021 and early 2022. This 25-track album is another thematic nod to class struggle with the hope to stir class consciousness in listeners. Every song title makes reference to some tenant of the destructive and unequal economic system called capitalism as well as its ever-looming shadow socialism. Even the album cover borrows inspiration from Soviet-era propaganda, re-adapting the artistic styles of many communist agitators.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-101, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor to the Electro community for the last 11 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear, and more. This album is available for $15 USD

"Back in March Komodo Kolektif were asked for a track for the second volume of the wonderful Bamboo Shows cassette series. 

Two takes were recorded just before we went into complete lockdown. One was rawer whereas the other was developed and refined up until the point we were no longer able to meet up and work with one another due to the restrictions. 

In the end the track chosen for Bamboo Shows was the rawer one, so here, for the first time...and exclusively availabale on bandcamp....is the version that got developed..... and then forgotten, along with the version that appeared on Bamboo Shows. 

We hope you like both.

The weather here in Scotland has been increasingly cold and we are only just at the end of autumn. Winter does not look promising and the conditions potentially life threatening for those who are homeless and living and sleeping on the streets of Glasgow. Glasgow Winter Night Shelter is operated by Glasgow City Mission and provides a bed and roof for anyone living on the streets whereas Glasgow Night Shelter provides beds for destitute asylum seekers who have arrived here with nothing."
