Hello & Willkommen to the Alternative Fakten 1st of May Takeover. Happy Tag der Arbeit!

Alternative Fakten is a Munich-based platform operating events, radio shows & physical/digital releases: exploring the weird and obscure, injecting anarchy into the city's underground electronic music scene. Today’s takeover is a mix of crew and friends, serving a very “Special Schwurbel 10h Sunday Afternoon Extravaganza”.

Starting things off is Tom Zwotausend, who started Alternative Fakten in 2018, followed by longtime crew members Bartoszek, Veronika USA and Norandin. Enjoy!

Next up are Die Spiiiders. Who the fuck are Die Spiiiders? Lucky enough, Alternative Fakten was able to sign the trio for further adventures after delivering the hit-banger “Ich bin ein Kaltgetränk, ich wohne im Kühlschrank”. Today, we are happy to enjoy a one hour set of the future supergroup’s favorites.

Following up, we are celebrating two very special “Kleiner Tanzraum” moments served during the latest Alternative Fakten club night at Import Export, Munich. Notorious Mira Mann and Céline deliver their alternative facts on the matter.

Closing today’s Alternative Fakten takeover, we’re willing to go down all the way to the rabbit keller – where CD Jessy is waiting for us already. The driving force behind the Alternative Fakten video work is also a big pusher for the anarchic twist within the team’s portfolio – rein da!

He’s followed by Niklas and Joshua alias Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge , who have always been a big inspiration for the Alternative Fakten project. Lucky enough the Faktis had the chance to host them twice here in Munich alraedy. Very happy to present this one hour guest mix in the context of a long lasting friendship. Na Servus!

Finishing off this Alternative Fakten takeover at Radio 80000 is P-T2, who has been a backbone of the Munich underground scene for many years. @bubu-mo stands for diversity and variety in nightlife, for unheard and unexpected obscurities from the depths of the music underground combined with known elements. She manages to create a dynamic that tempts music lovers to forget the time, to not go home, but to order another drink and surrender to the dance floor.

"Heihe~i! @quentinsan invited me to make a mix for @alternativefakten_ 📡 As he wrote me, I was about to attend the rally for the victims of racist attack at Olympic Shoping center in Munich. So I wanted put much anger against racism and capitalism but also some moments of taking a deep breath and fun time with empowering women* in this mix✊ I´m with some Barbies (official picture will come later), since I´m so impressed by the film🥹 It is still missing class war but hey, it´s big commercial thing and so much feminism in it!! I think it´s kind of a revolution. So if you haven´t watch it yet, please do!! One thing: the official Twitter (or X) account of the movie liked and replied positively on a meme of Barbie with a mushroom-cloud head. Japanese people went mad and boycotting Barbie. That´s right, we should not make fun out of the mushroom cloud. At the same time, Japanese government still didn´t sign Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and even the board of education in Hiroshima decided to ban the manga, Hadashi no Gen (Barefoot Gen), which portraits the misery of atomic bomb and following suffering in Hiroshima, from the elementary school classes. If Japan makes clear sign of NO to nuclear weapon and tell more pain and loss from the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, then no one would make a meme with mushroom clouds. It was 6th and 9th August 1945. Now I know, my mix is missing anti-nuclear songs but NO NUKES!! Thank you Quentin for this opportunity!"

Das Kinn klingt am ehesten so wie der Geist von Falco, gefangen in deinem Kleiderschrank, bei seiner täglichen Power Yoga Routine. Oder vielleicht nach einem seltsamen, aber konsistenten Gemisch aus Post Punk, New Age und dem Sound einer wütenden Hündin. Seit nun fast schon 2 Dekaden wandelt der Frankfurter Sponti Toben Piel auf unausgetretenen Klangfaden. Sei es mit der Synth-Hardcore Band Antitainment, dem Performance Duo LES TRUCS, mit Tape Collagen als FM Aether, als Mitbetreiber des Labels MMODEMM, oder mit Arbeiten für Theater und Radio.

Felde sammelt Musik seit er denken kann und so hat er ein atemberaubendes Repertoire angereichert, das sich über vielzählige Genres und Jahrzehnte spannt. Alternative Fakten is a real life and digital platform bringing together progressive artists and activists throughout the city of Munich and beyond. Musical releases, club nights, live shows, art shows and discussion formats are part of the repertoire. We amp underground movements and aesthetical discourse that is deeply linked to the city and its history and that need to be put on the spotlight.

Alternative Fakten Vol. 2 highlights Munich’s contemporary electronic music scene, that’s happening in between the local art scene, activist groups and club culture. 21 artists from diverse backgrounds paint a picture of riseup in a world slowly but surely falling apart.
