We are happy to welcome Malfunktion, the second official release by Alter Vu on Blacklite Records. The EP comes from the general idea that abnormal behaviors are happening while Artists are producing Psytrance. This attitude makes musicians able to collaborate and blend their ideas with ability and intelligence. It’s a synergetic approach in exploring new sounds, connecting with the vibe that drive psytrancers to target at the discovery of new patterns and symbols. Without any doubt, Malfunktion is also one part of the production process. Glitch in the process can always happen but they help Artists to discover new prototypes and models, based on the fusion of a highly psychedelic state of mind with serious principles and hilarious Ideas.

Alter Vu, the dynamic duo consisting of Balboa and Armienz, are the rising stars of the Mexican psytrance scene, making their mark on the world stage as part of the Blacklite Records family. Some might label it twilight music, their music bears witness to the fusion of old-school influences with a modern, robotic edge and a massive number of hallucinatory effects. In the world of psytrance, Alter Vu is the dawn of a new era, a rising talent duo from Mexico that invite all to join them on an hypnotic journey from place to place.

Alter vu is a term that describes the feeling of remembering something differently, or experiencing visions or dreams of events that never happened, allegedly as the result of changes to a worldline.
