Welcome Berlin-based digger, DJ & producer Tom Bolas. He runs Average Records @averagerecordsbln with a killer YouTube channel too, showcasing good or weird (and often rare) music with top-shelf digs

The mix in his words:
"The idea was to play some of the tunes that I enjoyed most through the summer months and to capture that feeling again as we are moving into autumn. I meant to finish the mix a few weeks ago in time for the last summer days, so let’s hope we get an Indian summer in Europe. I’ve had a string of edits come out recently on the amazing new @SmuttyEdits label as well as Duca Bianco and a 10 year-old Reggae-Disco edit is coming out on a local Berlin label in the not too distant future as well. I’ll be in Istanbul in late October / early November to play at @Arkaoda and a couple other places with Venus Exotica - looking forward to it."

Absolute honor to open the night, welcome & warm up the crowd for Louie Vega. 4hrs of Deep house, vinyl only.

Shouts to Tonno Disko, Laura Meester & Lazee Larry as well. Only heard good tunes!

ps: At some point we had to swap out a needle and turntable, apologies for the needle skips here and there! 
pps: the recorder cut out due to a full SD card so had to glue 2 parts of the mix together after deleting another recording.

Warmup set for Louie Vega etc. - Het Sierraad

Definitly one of my favorite rides of the 2025 summer. Not gonna lie, I was quite nervous in the beginning. Tugged in between the trees, good sound, lovely lights and a fantastic group of people standing on the other side of the booth. That felt good and special, and got me a little nervous at the same time. Just had 1,5 hour but managed to squeeze in a good variety of tunes. Started with a gentle touch but realised I needed some more energy and quickly found my way to some more heavier/deeper stuff (or at least heavy for my taste). After that I found a way for some more energetic uplifting rhythms and finally ended it all with a very soft landing.
I think I described it well enough, but if you can think of a better description, I am all ears after you have listened to the mix :)
