Following the breakthrough debut album of Georgian Singer-songwriter "Dionysus VS Tamada," Georgian singer-songwriter and producer Tamada announced his sophomore album ‘9 Deadly Sins for Tamada’, which is set to be released on July 4th, 2024.

Tamada, named after the traditional Georgian toastmaster, continues to explore and redefine the boundaries of electronic music with his unique blend of experimental sounds and deeply rooted cultural influences. His latest work, "9 Deadly Sins for Tamada," is an intriguing conceptual journey through nine original sins, each represented by a track on the album. These sins are derived from Society reflecting societal, personal, and cultural experiences. Tamada says, without these sins, there would no Tamada.

Written between 2020 and 2024, each track delves into these newly defined sins, offering listeners a deeply personal and philosophical experience. Tamada's lyrics, reminiscent of ancient Georgian toasts, address contemporary social issues, all while being accompanied by innovative electronic compositions that Soncially fit the ‘Tamada’ signature, Both highly experimental & wildly catchy.

With "9 Deadly Sins for Tamada," Tamada continues his exploration of identity, culture, and music, inviting listeners to join him on this introspective and auditory adventure. The album promises to be a significant milestone in Tamada’s ongoing artistic evolution.

Netam Live Album // Istanbul, Historical Yedikule Dungeons (Yedikule Fortress)

Alt Orient is excited to announce Netam's first live album and the first recording of the Alt Orient Live Session series.  This album, recorded live in audio and video at the iconic Yedikule Fortress in the heart of Istanbul, under the direction of Motif and production of @dunyadansesler . Creating a special performance for live electronic music lovers. 

Huge Thanks to the record labels Kanto Records, Rituel Recordings & Noiseist Records for allowing us to publish this live set properly

Netam brings together electronic elements and Anatolian melodies in a fascinating way in his music.  In this live performance, he presents a unique show with his skills in electronic music as well as his use of synthesizer and trumpet.  It creates an immersive effect on the listener with its sound design enriched with psychedelic textures and naive transitions between songs.  Melodically rich and relaxing, this album can be a nice accompaniment through your day.

Recorded in September 2022 in the Yedikule Dungeons of the Fatih district, known for its rich history and lively atmosphere, Netam's work comes together with the historical texture of Istanbul and appears as an immersive live performance. This performance was recorded during a sunset on the Historical Peninsula, inside one of the towers in Yedikule Dungeons.

The live album/video will be available on YouTube 25th of July and  all audio platforms from August 23rd.

Came the day when I decided to put the album in the public domain "Not only silence between us", which lay on the shelf for about 2 years. This work for me was as a ground for today's product that I've created and continues to create. In  the album I used some fragments and vocal performance from artists such as: Rashid Bhikha, Ibrahim Maalouf, Ircan Irmak, Keith Jarrett, Frédéric Chopin, Vera Hall, LaShun Pace.

Alt Orient is proud to present Ao Va, a six-track compilation showcasing the innovative fusion of traditional Eastern melodies and contemporary electronic sounds. 'Ao Va' is compilation through downtempo & organic house. weaving together the threads of tradition and innovation. With tracks ranging between 95 BPM and 122 BPM, the compilation flows seamlessly throughdowntempo grooves and up-tempo energy. The release will be available on all streaming platforms starting December 13th, 2024.


Opening the compilation is a stunning collaboration between Dan Bay and Omar Tara, blending downtempo grooves with evocative Arabic poetry. Their track sets the tone for a deeply cultural yet forward-thinking musical experience.

Next comes a reimagined Turkish classic by PAYE, a Berlin-based duo consisting of Ufuk Elik and Cem Dinler. With Ufuk on bağlama and vocals, and Cem on keyboards, e-bass, and e-drums, this downtempo interpretation honors timeless Anatolian music while pushing it into contemporary realms.

The third track brings together the talents of ÜNAM, Mada.Mada, and Grillô, who have composed a mesmerizing organic downtempo instrumental. Their collaborative effort creates a lush soundscape rich in texture and emotion. 

Tracks four and five shift the energy with remixes of the Georgian artist Tamada. providing a fresh take on his iconic sound. The first remix, by Come Closer, offers an intriguing downtempo interpretation, while the second, a collaboration between Anturage and S.Samo, brings an up
tempo flair to the compilation. 

Closing the journey is a serene composition by Lebanese producer Tarek El Hout, featuring Raymond Boulos on vocals and Dimitrios Kanaras on bouzouki. This chilled-out finale leaves listeners with a sense of calm and introspection, rounding out Ao Va with grace and beauty
