NCDNB Monthly Feature - Alusia - October 2025

Captivated by the deeper side of dnb, Alusia began her mixing journey years after discovering, collecting, and amassing a record collection from influential labels that spoke to her: Seba’s Secret Operations, Marcus Intalex’s Soul:r, Klute's Commercial Suicide, dBridges Exit Records; to narrowing in further with some of the genre’s more experimental, darker, and mystical themes, notably Om Unit’s Cosmic Bridge, Presha’s Samurai Music to Derrick Funkmaster’s Shambala Records. After finding her niche, Alusia began mixing in 2015; setting herself apart at the time with a vinyl-only commitment until making the switch to digital in the summer of 2024. 

She believes her vinyl background still very much influences her mixing today— drawing attention to her thoughtful process of giving tracks the breathing room they deserve— with lengthy blending, intentional break-to-break transitions and dreamy breakdowns.

Alusia has shared the stage with major players such as Bukem, Jubei + Sp:mc, Amit, Jumpin’ Jack Frost and Degs.

Agile has been producing for around 8 years and new to mixing sets.  We will be posting various mixes, tracks and influences from over the years. We will be putting a lot of W.I.P. stuff up to let you hear work in progress. Let us know what you think!

Rae Sheetz is a boundary-pushing DJ and emcee known for igniting dance floors and elevating consciousness through sound. As the founder of Realyst Productions, Rae has been a voice for unity and freedom in underground music for decades—seamlessly fusing Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, Breaks, and House into powerful, genre-defying sets.

Rae has rocked stages alongside iconic artists like Dieselboy, Dara, Phantom 45, Dave Shichman, and Bengal, as well as hip-hop heavyweights Brand Nubian, Lyrics Born, and Heiruspecs. Whether layering live instrumentation into driving mixes or ripping the mic with raw lyrics, Rae channels a message of resilience, power, and collective liberation.

After a transformative hiatus, Rae returned to the scene with renewed fire—bringing freedom and togetherness to every community touched by the music. This isn’t just performance—it’s purpose in motion.
