The Tunnel Leads Nowhere

Physical Therapy links up with Montreal’s Patrick Holland on “Daymaxxing”: 3 colorful cuts made for the distinct moods of a day on the dancefloor. Friends since the “lo-fi house” era of the early 2010’s, the pair have carefully constructed an EP that shows off their wide range and love of earworm melodies.

Title track “Daymaxxing” is a bright and intricate house track, slowly unfolding into a harmonious afternoon groove. “7 AM Drive” follows with propulsive sunrise techno, bass heavy and laden with strings. Finally, “7 PM Drive” closes the EP with a balearic breakbeat take – an easy sunset soundtrack.
