The piece is separated into short three sections, each featuring a family of instruments in the Chinese Ensemble.

Part I   - Sunrise (Winds) 
Part II  - Scherzo for the plucked strings (Plucked Strings)
Part III - Meditation Under Moonlight (Strings)

This piece can be interpreted as three scenes at diﬀerent time of day, each corresponding section is an attempt to portray the image of morning, noon, and night. Duration of this piece may be around 12 minutes.
