The music on this album was 100% rendered by the SNES. Each track was composed as a MIDI file meant to be played on the SNES using Super MIDI Pak. Those MIDI files were then converted into SPCs using the conversion tool on the Super MIDI Pak web app.

Summer Sun Rays

So I took the stems from Dre's "Nuthin but a 'G' Thang" and ended up with this remix. Wasn't really sure if it would fly when I started, but I've gotten some really good feedback on it so I thought I'd share. Not your conventional remix for sure, but who knew alt-rock and hip hop would pair so beautifully? The original synths worked great over guitars (especially for the funky chorus part) and the whole thing just sort of came together after that. Check it!
