Singer, Songwriter, Producer from Brooklyn, NY. Born as Djhyno Alexandre in Port - Au - Prince, Haiti and raised in the U.S. Alyx André has always had a passion for music. Began singing from the early age of 2, and has honed his craft over the years singing in Church. This gift has allowed Him to travel all over the world. The sky is the limit. In elementary school, Alyx always excelled in poetry and from a young age he would put words together in rhyme schemes, metaphors, similes, and in rhythm far more advanced than his peers, not knowing he was blessed with the gift of songwriting. They say apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. His Mother was a songwriter who wrote songs for her church group and his father was a baritone singer in a Haitian band in Haiti. Alyx received a piece from his parents and with faith, diligence and hard work he improved and became skillful in the gifts God blessed him with. He started writing songs at the age of 13. He would record songs from Hot 97 radio station and put them into a cassette tape, then organize them in order and listen and write to them on his cassette player... Not knowing this would birth a producer in him. Searching for various instrumentals, he would look for specific sounds. It would have to have piano and strings, and he bought a cheap $10 computer mic and would record songs using the voice record on his desktop. Having original songs, he would share with his friends. This sparked the desire to grow and improve in his craft. His passion for singing, writing songs, and producing did not die. Now Alyx André travels/tours the world singing music that he writes and produces He has also written & produced for local artists abroad and is his passion continues to grow from there with the desire of producing and writing songs for artists all over the world. Alyx studied voice and music education at Nyack college and has graduated with a BS in Music Production from Full Sail University. What's next for Alyx André? To conquer the world and reach souls through his music.
