Oliver is an Australian artist & producer. His productions first caught the ear of industry veteran Alan Fitzpatrick, who signed his debut Exit Points EP to Apex Faction in February 2022, featuring the breakout single Closer. The track quickly marked Oliver as one to watch, pushing a few million streams across Spotify and Apple Music while earning support from some of the scene’s biggest names. Closer debuted as the closing track on &ME's Keinemusik Radio Show, was handpicked by Hudson Mohawke for his Mixmag Cover Mix, and later found its way into Dixon’s all-night sets across Paris, London, and Milan.

The success of Closer sparked a wave of curiosity around Oliver’s sound. His follow-up, You Forget - a lush collaboration with longtime friend Keepa - landed on Solomun's 2DIY4 imprint. The track earned immediate rotation on BBC Radio 1 with Pete Tong’s Month in Dance feature, and was soon accompanied by a heavyweight remix package featuring Laurence Guy, Touch Sensitive, PARIS and more.

2023 marked Oliver’s evolution into a live performer. He sold out his debut headline show while also sharing the stage with DJ Tennis, Magdalena and Seb Wildblood.

Building on that momentum, 2024 saw Oliver return with another sold-out headline show alongside support slots for Tom VR and DJ Seinfeld. His 4-track EP on Sydney’s Gallery Recordings was met with acclaim, particularly for the tune Brother. 

He now returns to Gallery with the release of his new EP titled 'A New Start'.

Right place, right time. It's an old cliché, but it's one that's been the definition of Dennis Ferrer's musical career. Just as the dance music world was heading into the world of afro-centric house, Ferrer was there. And then, when it began to embrace the mix of tech and soul, Ferrer was there again, leading the way with his impeccable productions. As Ferrer goes, it seems, so does electronic music. And, as someone who's never content to do the same thing twice, it's clear that he'll be staying on top for years to come.

Ferrer burst back into the consciousness of most dance music heads with the release of "Sandcastles," (Ibadan) his collaboration with Jerome Sydenham in 2003. But, to his credit, Ferrer didn't simply repeat the formula afterwards. He has continued to push a variety of genres all at once. It's clear that Ferrer isn't content to rest on his laurels: he's too busy dreaming up new ways to shock and delight audiences.

In the mid-90’s, Ferrer was crafting techno records as Morph and then had success in the Afro and gospel house scenes with releases via his Sfere label, an imprint he began alongside Kerri Chandler. But it's this past work that gives his new productions such resonance: unlike many of this house peers, Ferrer's techno experience has given him an edge that you can hear in his recent work.

"Son of Raw," (Ibadan) "Church Lady," (Defected) "Underground Is My Home," (King Street Sounds), "Touched the Sky" (King Street Sounds), “Transitions” (King Street Sounds), “P 2 Da J” (Defected),  “Sinfonia Della Notte” (Strictly Rhythm), “Hey Hey” (Objektivity), “Red Room” (Objektivity), “Underground” Nick Curly – Dennis Ferrer Remix (Defected), to name a few, have all been huge dance floor anthems and all show a different side of the Ferrer personality as well as his impressive range as producer and remixer.

Ferrer has brought his ‘anything goes’ approach to his label, Objektivity.  Celebrating its 8th anniversary in 2014, the imprint has thus far focused itself on vocals, featuring often unlikely turns from indie heroes like Ane Brun and Télépopmusik. Low slung and deep, Objektivity is a cutting-edge label in touch with its time, putting a uniquely American spin on the deep house revival that is currently making waves in Europe. Objektivity is a living, breathing thing - one that's set to drop bombs on the dance floor for years to come.

While Ferrer closes out 2013 with “Mind Ur Step” (Defected), “Mind Ur Dub” (Objektivity) and a remix of Coyu - “Salvation” (Noir Music), the best is yet to come. With a deep knowledge of the past and a constant push for the future, Ferrer remains one of the true greats of house music - a leader and innovator whose enjoying the buzz around him but keeping on pushing the limits. There are few DJs who have as much passion and dedication to this industry as Kevin Knapp. He’s a constant pioneer of the sounds crowds yearn for through his own individual production style and his proclivity for vocal contributions. His stand out vocals turned our heads back in 2012 proclaiming “My Beat Will Control You" with Audiojack and his first Hot Creations cut ”The Drums” alongside A&R head Richy Ahmed in 2013 is still owning dance floors to this day. As of recent, his track “Drug Birds” out of Sola was heavily supported by UK mainstays Hannah Wants and Huxley. 2018 was a big year as Kevin’s collab “Your Mind” with Shiba San was released with Repopulate Mars and swept across dancefloors. Kevin has taken every opportunity to continue his craft leading him from San Francisco to the capital of Techno: Berlin. 

This is not seen as a day job to Kevin, but rather, it’s a way of life. It’s an attempt to communicate with audiences worldwide through his sounds and passion for human connection and it’s working. Whether that be as small as a vocal loop, or as substantial as a full fledged EP on some of the biggest house music labels in world, Knapp will turn his hand to anything in order to continue this journey he’s living day in day out, going BIG in more ways than one. 

As a world touring DJ, Kevin has preformed at many seminary festivals and stages including Dirtybird Campout, Lucidity Festival, Paradise, Get Lost, Cityfox, Sonar, Fabric, Kater Blau, Elrow, and Sankeys, making it clear that Kevin’s sound is an infectious front runner in the house music industry. Just ask his frequent supporters Jamie Jones, Pete Tong, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, Claude Vonstroke, Patrick Topping, and Hannah Wants about Kevin’s seat at the house music table. Whether it’s a niche underground 200 capacity club, or a stage in Miami in front of several thousand, Knapp pushes to break the boundaries between DJ and spectator. 

With releases on Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels, Hottrax, Sola, Dirtybird, Truesoul and more, Knapp continues to delve beyond the music and he is positioned to have 2019 be his most poignant year to date.
